Going insane wondering if I am pregnant...

Hi,
So question for everyone...I had the Mirena until about 5 weeks ago. I had it removed because it fell out of place and we decided to just start ttc. I started what I thought was my period 2 days later, which lasted exactly 7 days. I am now 4 days late and have taken like 10 tests, all which were negative. I totally feel preggo...boobs growing, bloated, mood is all over the place and cramps like I am going to start my period, but nothing. Could it be after effects of the IUD? Could I be preggo, even with negative tests? Any advice is appreciated, since I am going crazy wondering...Should I go see my Dr? Thanks everyone...

Yes, those negative pregnancy tests are all lying. Those aren't PMS symptoms, those are totes pregnancy symptoms.

Seriously, negative test means you are NOT pregnant. You don't know you are "late" unless you have been temping.
  • My first month off BC I felt really strange symptoms, they felt like "pregnancy" signs (according to Google). My guess would be your body is just readjusting.

I agree with the other posts--your body is probably adjusting to life after BC.  You are wasting your money on so many HPT--relax.  Good luck TTC, though :)

Your body can be all f'd up from getting off BC. Try not to read too much into symptoms and what is happening because it will get you no where. If the tests are negative, you aren't pregnant.

I started temping and charting right after I stopped BC so I would know my cycles and could better determine when I ovulate, when I should expect my period, etc. It really helped calm my nerves.

  • I'm on day 2 of my first period after having my IUD removed in March. It was late and I was having pseudo - pregnancy symptoms for 3 weeks prior to its arrival. Unfortunately it's called PMS.

It took me a good month or two for my cycles to regulate after having my Mirena removed
  • I had mirena in for 5yrs, and for the first month of it being out I had all kinds of symptoms of being pregnant but still nothing. hoping this is our month though. :-D
