Pediatrician reco - Solon, Macedonia, Twinsburg

Hi ladies - I am relocating to the Macedonia/Solon area and would love input on pediatricians (and your obgyn) in the surrounding neighborhoods. Thanks in advance!

    I don't have any recommendations for pediatricians yet, but my OB/GYN is Dr. Janette Stephenson with University Hospitals.  She sees patients at Orange Place off of the Harvard Road exit of 271.  When I lived in Solon, it took me about 15 minutes.  I live in Akron now, and I still choose to drive to see her even though it takes me 40 minutes now.  She is a great doctor, very reassuring.

    Children's Medical Group in Akron is now part of UH.  They have a new office that is in Hudson at 303 and 91.  I love going there, especially Dr. Hackenburg!

    Pediatricenter  in Twinsburg on RT 82 (easy to get to from Macedonia OR Solon). They have 5 or 6 doctors that practice there as well as at several other locations in NEO (Broadview Heights, Garfield Heights, Mayfield Heights, Bainbridge). We have a doctor (Julie Gunzler) who we schedule our well visits with, but we've now seen 4 other doctors for sick visits. They are all wonderful and it's nice to have the option of another caring doctor if your child is sick. I've always been able to get a same day sick visit whenever I've needed it.

    My OB/GYN is Dr. Deborah Gerson. She practices in the same office as Dr. Stephenson (who was mentioned above). She's a UH doctor but has delivery privileges at Hillcrest which was super important to me.

    Thanks for the input ladies! We landed at children's in Hudson (had great evening hours!). Also appreciate the ob suggestions - I need to make an appointment!

    Thanks for the info on the Twinsburg office! I am new to the area and I am assuming it is the UH building with ER attached? I have been there for blood work and was curious about their pediatricians. This helps!
