Annoyed Tuesday

Was one already started? I'm annoyed at DH because he works in corporate finance and some days are better than others for him to make my OB appointments. He sees how difficult it is to make them on certain days and times and my work schedule is more accommodating so I make them when he can come. So, his work makes him stay late sometimes to do payroll, blah and it's getting old hearing, "I may or may not come". It's just bs. I know he really is concerned and wants to be there but it's just annoying. He has talked to his boss and she seems somewhat sympathetic but not enough to not let him leave work early or let's say, on time. Just scared. One day before my official EDD and will most likely be doing it alone. Ugh, go...

    Sorry you are annoyed. My DH met my OB in the delivery room. He did come to the big anatomy scan, which was at a specialist's office, but did not make one single routine OB visit. His schedule is just too unpredictable and he works too far away for me to even try to coordinate my appts with when he could be there. If your DH is trying but misses a few visits, I would cut him some slack. I am sure he would rather be with you than doing payroll.

    Totally! I'm just scared, and he is great at calming me down. I should say I'm annoyed at his job, not him. :-)

    I understand. My first PG DH came
    To a lot more appts. But for the most part they are routine and NBD. This time I did not really try to get him to any appts. Some people may think that's crazy too.

    My DH came to the first handful, but I have been going to the others solo. I feel like it would be such a waste of his time! 1.5 hours for a 5 minute appt! He did make 38 weeks...cause he was working from home that day.

    As long as he is there for delivery :)
