Teachers day ideas

Teachers day is just around the corner and I was looking for some cute ideas for DDs daycare providers. A coworker suggested sending In cookies with a note saying 'thank you for making me one smart cookie'. I love the idea! Daycare is very pro healthy eating though so I might make some banana cookies that another friend suggested (no sugar, baby edible). Where I'll find time to make said cookies is beyond me. Does anyone else have any teachers day gift ideas/plans that their doing?

    I don't have any suggestions but banana cookies sound wonderful. I'd love to have that recipe if you have it :)

    ETA: I think anything thats food would be perfect, who doesn't love some food...especially a healthier cookie!

    I just wanted to add that Pinterest has an overwhelming amount of ideas. That's where I will be looking anyway. My brain is too fried/sleep deprived to think of something original.

    When I was a teacher, I loved small gift cards to Starbucks or Dunkin. I also liked the basket of stationary and teaching supplies. It even included Tylenol. I always appreciated handwritten notes. I still have them saved.

    @curlingrocks thanks for the heads up on the cookies. That sucks though because I had high hopes for them. Maybe I'll do a fruit basket instead and use some of the cute notes that @jojo112 suggested.

    Oh my didn't even know that was coming up. Thanks for the reminder. I think the above are all great ideas. I once made them chocolate covered strawberries for Easter and they loved it. So that could be an option that's cheap and easy to do and not too unhealthy.

    You can also do little mini jars with homemade jam or maybe a little ceramic pot with herbs in that they can grow? Maybe something like this? https://www.pinterest.com/pin/58828338853416574/

    I think i'm making them my kick ass truffles. It's always a crowd pleaser and i think they'll enjoy.
