So was a lurker/infrequent poster near the end of my pregnancy and first few weeks my little one was here and life has gotten crazy so i haven't been around so please be gentle on me im sorry....

i picked one up on craigslist a few months ago but i don't really have much info on it. my LO is 4month with good headcontrol and sits with little support. still too soon or would you start using it on short hikes?

    As long as she met the minimum weight requirements and had good head control. Try short walks around the block to see how she handles it before attempting hikes.

    jeez 16lbs!! looks like ill be waiting until shes 18years then! shes long and lean.

    We did a test run with our Kelty, and she isn't ready yet, can't look around comfortably, etc. -- my DD is 5 months old, we're still using the Ergo for short hikes and that's been working well.  Do a test run, see how LO likes it.

    ive put her in it a couple times here and there to practice putting it on and off and she seems to do ok in it. but as long as shes moving she is happy...
