First, thank you to all for your support and advice over the past 9 months. This has been an incredible journey and I can't wait until everyone meets their little munchkins!
So my birth story...
My water broke in Monday night and it did not come out all at once like the movies- I had no contractions, not even BHs and thought I peed myself! I noticed a pink tinge on toilet paper so I called the OB to be on the safe side- they told me to come to Labor and delivery to get checked out. Well, I continued to lose fluid the whole way there so it was no question that my water broke.
I was at 4 cm and 90% effaced but no active contractions so I was induced. I was super nervous but I was on a low dose and actually progressed very nicely. I was completely dilated and ready to push by 11 or so yesterday afternoon. Everything seemed to be going well and they could see his head by noon- and then they realized he was facing the wrong direction. Head was down but he was "sunny side up". Apparently, that makes a big difference and I was experiencing painful back labor- even with an epi. They said he would have been out in the next hour if that wasn't the case. Anyways, I kept pushing and he would move down and then back up a little so making progress was difficult. I pushed for over 3.5 hours and they tried to rotate him (ouch) unsuccessfully several times. The OB started discussing a c-section as we weren't making real strides anymore and after pushing for so long- I was about to lose my mind and was exhausted. Another OB came in and evaluated me to see if he was close enough to use forceps. We gavve it one last college try with the forceps and he finally was out! Happiest and most emotional moment of my life.
I have a lot of tearing as I was pretty swollen after the pushing and the forceps caused a laceration so I have "3rd degree tearing". Not going to lie- pretty uncomfortable but I am on pain meds and feeling better. And he was worth it, of course. My husband and I can't take our eyes off of him and love him to pieces already.
His name is Victor James and he was born at 3:29 PM yesterday at 6 lbs 15 oz and 19 1/4 inches. Here is a pic (not the best) and I'll try to update with more later:

Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN. After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.
August 16, 2013: BFP our first month of "not trying!" Still in shock. Beta #1 (14dpo): 183. Beta #2 (17dpo): 611. Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm!
Ultrasound 9/13/13: 8 weeks, heart rate of 176!
Baby is due 4/26/14

Me (34)- no issues found MH (36)- MFI due to Vericocele. Straight to IVF w/ICSI 9/12, Antagonist. 9R, 7M, 5F = BFN c/p, New RE for IVF #2- 1/13., Long Lupron. ER on 1/22 -10R, 9M, 9F. Transfer on hold due to overstimming. FET in Feb. 2 frozen blasts. Another BFN & another c/p. RPL testing all negative besides MTHFR gene, vericocle repair surgery 4/12/13-Bilateral Grade 3 Vericocele found & fixed, IVF #3 with PGS 4/13- 11R, 9M, 9F. Transferred 2 normal=BFN, 3 normal on ice. CCRM-here we come! ODWU-All test results normal. EPP in August. 21R, 20M, 19F. 12 blasts biopsied & frozen for CCS testing. Results showed 11 normal! FET Oct. 30. 2 5d 4AA blasts transferred. First ever BFP!!! Beta 1=216, Beta 2=870 1st U/S=It's TWINS!!! It's a BOY and a GIRL!! Everyone Welcome!!!
