I did. And bleeding. There is such a thing as pregnancy-induced gingivitis, according to my dentist. Make sure you see your dentist on your normal schedule during pregnancy! It's really important.
Funny - I'm sitting here watching TV, feeling my gums and thinking 'damn, they hurt!" So yes, this is happening to me! And now I"m going to floss and take some tylenol!
I had it with DS and with this one. I also have throbbing gums when I go running and do certain work-outs (not when pg). You can be prone to gingivitis so like pp said, it's important to keep up with dental visits (there is a link between poor dentition and pre-term labor), but I think if you have sensitive gums, the increased blood volume in pg can cause bleeding and throbbing. I always thought this is why my gums hurt when I get my heart rate up exercising.
