Nuvaring

Since DD was born, my acne has been flaring up like crazy. Across my jawline and down my neck...cystic and painful. I've had this before in my early 20's (not as severe) and after trying everything under the sun, the only thing that finally cleared it up was going on the nuvaring. I was on it for 7 years and my skin was perfect. I went off it when we started trying and around 2nd trimester it kicked back up and since DD's birth has gotten even worse.

So, I talked to my doctor about birth control as I plan to go back on at my 6 week mark which is coming up soon. He said I can safely go back on nuvaring, the only negative side effect is that is may decrease my breastmilk...or it may not. My milk supply is pretty pathetic as it is, I have to pump then I supplement with formula and bottle feed. I just keep going back and forth about if I should chance it or not. If I notice supply going down, can I get it back up again if I choose to go off it?

    Ordinarily I would say you could get it back np but with already having supply issues I feel less confident saying that. As long as you catch it quickly I'm guessing you could, though.
