What entertainment words does your child have?

Disclaimer: We limit screen time to approximately 10 minute a day on weekdays and an hour on weekends.

That said. She now has:

Mickey
Tigger
Pooh
movies

I am somewhat embarassed by this, hahaha.

    The only one he talks about is elmo. Oh wait he says Thomas train and Dora too. But both of those are more for the books we read than shows. He is just not interested in tv yet. He will dance along to team umizoomi theme song when it comes on for ds1. Ds1 is only now just able to sit through a show and only if it is team umizoomi. Dd loved tv from the beginning though.

    Xbox was totally her first non-mama/dada word. LOL she also says Doc. She doesn't really have many nouns in general. She doesmt carr what it is called, she just wants you to make it go.

    Oh she also sings "Happy" (happy, happy, happy, happy), "Roar", and "Royals" which I should probably be ashamed about :)

    We watch a good amount of tv and E talks a lot/has a great vocabulary, but he doesn't say any words from shows. I guess that's a good thing!

    Elmo and Cookie (yet has never watching Sesame Street), Mickey, Minnie, Hot Dog (dance)...I think that's it.

    Chica, and tweet tweet when Chica is on.
    Doggie and panting like a dog, and min-owwwww ( meow, for kitties) when TooCute is on.
    And Birdie for bird related movies. She digs Happy Feet and watches it for maybe 15-20 min at a time, which is an eternity for her.

    We really don't watch much tv but my soon picks up on everything. He has at least 100 words and he speaks in phrases. He says:

    mickey (we've never seen anything with Mickey)

    He can also sing small parts of the songs from Dinosaur Train, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Frozen

    I don't know what half of these are and he doesn't have any entertainment words.

    Tractor, Cow, Farm, Barn, Ball, Wagon - those are what we talk about most.  I can't get him to watch tv and we don't have cartoons.  I guess that's an okay thing - even books can't keep his attention.

    He says "tee" for tv, and "hyeah" for Sam, which is Fireman Sam, which is his most favoritest show in the world (and the only thing he watches).

    She does not get much tv time but some thinks have really stuck.
    Fia-Sofia the first (her ALL TIME FAVORITE!! She will not move when it is on.

    Mick mick- Mickey Mouse
    Ariel- the little mermaid
    Ella-Cinderella
    She also loves to sing the theme song from Sofia the first. Holding out that last note is her favorite! (And by sing I mean babble and pick out a few words to make clear while she spins around in a circle)

    He likes a few of the shows on Disney Jr when he watches them, he usually only pays attention when there is music and then he is a dancing fool!
    He loves Katy Perry's Roar song and will sing some of it as well!

    audrey LOVES that song as well. always gets her dancing in the car.
    That is awsome! When he starts freaking out in the car I will put it on for him and he instantly calms down and starts singing along. I will admit that we have listened to this song on repeat before for a hour long car ride because he was losing his shit. It made the car ride so much more bearable!

    I wish he watched less TV than he does but it's still under 30 min a day
    He's obsessed and I mean FIXATED on Finding Nemo. It's making me crazy now.

    And he knows other guys but mostly from books and toys

    and he likes Happy by Pharell. I realize since we are almost never in a car we don't listen to much music together!

    Oh boy! Mine's gonna be the weird kid in kindergarten too. The only TV he watches is Elmo clips on YouTube. He just doesn't really care about TV yet.

    He does however yell "pop" very loudly when we walk past it in the store. I promise he's never had any. Dad just has a Mt. Dew habit and he loves the word.
