So I'm a few days shy on 19 weeks and got this feeling that my baby is a boy. I got this last time with my daughter and was spot on. How accurate were your mommy instincts?? And what are you feeling with this one??
I feel this LO is a girl... but some days when I'm talking about the baby I refer to him. I flip flop at times. Mostly I feel it could be a girl... we won't know until the delivery room... so from now until September we have fun with the guesses! Will have to let you know then if I'm right or wrong!
I felt pretty strongly that my first was a boy, and he was. I had zero feelings with this one. I suspected girl because the pregnancy was so different, but that's it.
Felt like it was a girl from the beginning, so at the anatomy scan I was expecting the tech to say "boy". Nope, it's a girl. It's just pot luck though. You have a 50% chance of being right.

Ive flip flopped. Up until a week ago I've had the feeling that it was a boy. Now I've flopped over to girl. My husband has always thought girl (and so has most of our extended families).
Hopefully I find out today at my ultrasound. I'll let you know if I'm right. I don't neccisarily believe in "Mommy instincts" when it comes to gender, but ( like old wives tales) it's fun to talk about.
I was 100% convinced it was a girl. right up until the ultrasound tech said "and look whats between those legs"--I was shocked. I seriously thought there was no chance it was a boy. Shows how good my mommy instincts are!!
I had no idea with my first. I didn't really know with my second but I always assumed a boy. According to the way I carried everyone said they were girls but in reality they were boys.
With my youngest I had a strong feeling it was a girl from the moment I got a positive test and she is. I carried her the same as my boys.
I do not believe in these mommy instincts. I think it was more a lucky guess. There was a 50% chance I would be right and those are pretty good odds.
This is my first, and I felt ever since about half way through my first trimester and ever since that it's a girl. We found out Wednesday that it is in fact a girl! I was shocked my mommy instincts were right.
Initially I figured it would most likely be a boy, given my DH's family's track record for males. But then I tried to be all "scientific" about it taking into account when I ovulated vs. when we had sex and just thought for SURE it would be a girl (I ovulated 5 days later than "contact.")
WRONG.
It's a boy. And given his little dudes are strong enough to live that long, I may never have a girl, lol.
I don't believe a mom can *know* but I had dreams that I was having a girl, both before and during pregnancy so I predicted from day 1 that it would be a girl and I was right
Honestly, I knew it was a boy. But I kept telling everyone it was a girl because I wanted a boy so bad! It got confusing but at the end of the day, my instincts were right. I found out at 17 weeks!
So I have no idea if my instincts are right or not. Baby was super shy during the ultrasound and we couldn't get him/her to move for anything! I have to wait a month for another try. But everything looks super healthy so far so that's what counts.
