I was just wondering what your thoughts are on nude baby photos on social media sites. A co-worker is out on maternity leave, her daughter is probably a little over a month old and she posted a photo on FB of full frontal nudity in the tub, everything is visible. Don't get me wrong I don't see an issue with these types of photos, but on FB? With all the sick people out there and stories of people sexually abusing kids at younger and younger ages wouldn't it seem like that would be something you should keep private in your home? And these photos might be private to her friends only but doesn't it come out that the person who abused a child is most times close to the family.
I'm not trying to start a debate on these photos but I was just wondering if I was being paranoid about the safety of a child. As soon as I saw the photos I was shocked and the first thing that went through my mind was what if someone saw this who had tendencies towards children, would this invite unwanted attention.

Nope. Never. Never ever. I know that there are people who prowl for that kind of thing out there, and it freaks me out.

I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure that naked pictures (no matter the age) are against TOS on Facebook.
There was a case here where a college football coach had pictures of his kids in the bathtub on his work phone. He was fired and charged with possessing child pornography. The charges were later dropped and he just got his job back, but it just goes to show that you can't be too careful with that stuff.
This is for all the caterpillars that never became butterflies. And for all the butterflies that never felt the wind in their wings. And for all the hearts that had hopes and dreams of a wondrous flight together.
People have no sense about what they post online. Facebook privacy isn't that great. As a friend told me, I never put anything on Facebook that I wouldn't want to come up at a confirmation hearing
