No official appointment, but I have a call into my midwife to see if she'll see me today or if she wants me to head to L&D. I've been having some stabby pains in my lower back on and off for the last day or two and now I'm feeling all crampy and period-like. I'm starting to get a little worried.

I have a regular OB appt tonight at 5:20 EDT. I have to ask about when to submit my short term disability paperwork and stuff... yikes, that means this ride is almost coming to an end!

Thanks @babygabe614 ! Seeing my midwife at 9:30. I'm hoping it's nothing or maybe a UTI or something easy to treat. I'm not ready to have a baby just yet!

Had my regular appt this morning. She offered to check my cervix since I'd been contracting a lot last week and went on procardia, but she said she didnt think it was necessary...I agreed. Dont have the feeling of imminent labor so just going to leave things alone.

Gained a 1/2 pound since last Monday and she said she was very happy with my weight this whole pregnancy. Which is good since it was only a few weeks ago that the other doc was chewing me up one side and down the other about it. FWIW, I haven't done anything different with my diet and even stopped at Burger King on my way in to the doctor this morning for a Sausage Egg & Cheese Croissant, OJ, and a Mocha Frappachino...**Sigh** - If I'd have skipped breakfast she'd probably have seen that I've actually lost weight since last week because I'm puking my brains out every night at 2am....

Overall, she said things are good and is hopeful to get me to 34-35 weeks after which whatever will be will be and LO can pick his own birthday and they'll do nothing to stop it.

Have my 34 week appointment this afternoon hopefully she'll have some insight to all the contractions ive been haveing lately and turns out to be nothing. Good luck with all your appointments today ladies fingers crossed we all get good news.

I have to go in for a BP check. At Friday's OB apt, it was slightly elevated but no protein in my urine. All labs came back normal, so hopefully today's BP reading is normal too.

At 12 PST I have a growth U/S. They will also be checking my fluid to see if it is too high. I am sure that it is just that I am growing a giant..Then I have my regular appointment and follow up at 1.

Well, there was blood in my urine. That, coupled with the stabby back pain, indicates that I'm probably dealing with another kidney stone. They sent a culture away to make sure there's no infection and in the meantime, I have strict orders to push fluids. I wish I had some drugs. Or booze.

She didn't check me to see if I was dilated at all, but she could feel that Baby Drew is suuuuper low in my pelvis, so she said that completely explains the pelvic pain I've been having. She thinks he'll cook a while longer but is pretty sure I won't be making my due date.

All in all, I'm annoyed, but I decided to take the rest of the day off and come home and rest. Thanks for the good thoughts!

Had my weekly ultrasound and one of my NSTs today. The ultrasound looked great. Baby girl has HAIR!!!! And lots of it!!

NST went good. My blood pressure was a little high today.

They aren't too worried. It was weird since its been completely normal the past four visits. Not sure whats up with that.

Dr scheduled my induction for May 29th!! Looks like she won't be a June baby after all. That is one month from tomorrow! Ahhhh....so much to do! But I can't wait to meet my daughter.

Just got back from my OB appointment at 11. Gained a pound, heart beat was good and blood pressure was good. Go back in 2 weeks

Sent to L&D due to dehydration. I came down with a nasty stomach bug Saturday and threw up for 24 hours. Feeling much better now after the IV fluid. Baby girl looks good and we're hoping to head home soon.

Had a NST today. I guess little guy is just way too relaxed and likes to sleep. Had to get out the buzzer to wake him up twice to get our 3 rises in HR that they want. Starting to think this is how every NST will go... Ah well, he moves, does what they want, and we're still looking good at this point.

Had a NST and it looked pretty good. Poor baby had to get buzzed since she slept through the majority of it. Baby is still measuring 2 wks behind and my BP was elevated. Going back in on Friday for another growth u/s and check BP again.

@nnh7 - Don't worry, when they are the real contractions during actual labor you'll be able to tell. BH are difficult to figure out sometimes.

Well. I'm officially high risk and this baby is a giant. He's in the 95th percentile weighing in at 6lbs 10oz. I also have polyhydramnios, pedal edema and they believe I may develope pre e. Dr also thinks I may have developed GD so I get to go back in for that. I'll have weekly ultrasounds and NST as well as cervical checks.

Lots to take in today.

Everything came back good from the dr, she told me just to keep an eye on my contractions and if anything else comes up head back to l&d just to be on the safe side little miss is super low.

I am on a 24 hour urine test my urine had a lot of protein in it so my doc wants me to do a 24 hour urine screen to make sure im not developing pre e or something else..i was also extremely dehydrated so i def have to drink more water

Had a follow up appointment today after I went in for my first NST on Friday and ended up getting admitted to L&D for the night because I was having a ton of contractions. They gave me fluids and betamethasone for the girls' lungs, just in case. My cervix is "softer and thinner" than the doctor would like, but it is still closed, so I was able to go home Saturday. The OB today convinced me to be off work, so I've officially filed my short term disability claim and FMLA. Good luck to everyone else waiting for results and I'm happy for those who had good appointments!

My appt. went well last night. I got to see the OB I love in my practice, and she gave me a lot of good info about how the whole L&D experience could go, and made me feel more confident about what they will be willing to do to help me avoid a c-section. After my last appt with another OB at the practice, I left feeling worried that they would push for it when it wasn't necessary. Ultimately, I know it will be up to me to be my own advocate, but I was thankful that my Dr. saw where I was coming from. She also gave me some info on how to avoid the one Dr. in the practice who I would not want delivering LO. I know it's silly and on the day of, I shouldn't care as long as she gets out safely, but this guy is a total douche canoe and I am going to try my damndest to avoid having him deliver my daughter. He's also very pro-csection and pro-episiotomy, both of which I want to avoid.

Baby was doing great - all normal, and she kicked the Doppler 3 times so needless to say she was being super active as usual. I scheduled the rest of my appointments and it really dawned on me that I only have 6 appointments left until she's here! Crazy.
