Today my husband went back to work, so it's my first official day doing it all on my own. We had a rough start, when my lovely little lady decided to stay up screaming her head off until 1am.. It wasn't hunger, gas or poop, she was overheated.. April heatwave and an apartment that doesn't have air conditioning. Terrible mix!
The day has been good so far, I am exhausted but I'm coping. How was your first day? What helpful tips can you give me.

Then we had you.
Now we are complete.
I also try to get out of the house every day, even if it's just a walk to get the mail or a trip to the store. The change of scenery is good for everyone, and I like to get my kiddos used to a bunch of different sights and sounds.
I've also found it helpful to get into a rough routine every day. For example, wake up, feed, tummy time, nap in the boppy, outing, feed, books, etc.

the bouncer is your friend when you want to shower- LO sits in there sleeping most of the days that I shower while home alone with her.
I ditto the non-baby activities. This will help you keep your Pre-baby self sane! I hung laundry outside yesterday while LO napped and although it was so ordinary, it felt wonderful to not be on the couch watching crappy daytime TV. You got this!!

No advice, just stay confident and pray!
Today is another test, my wonderful husband has flown to Germany for the day, (we live in Sweden) he won't be home until 10:30 tonight. So now I'm not going to have any breaks which is a bit scary!
