Nipple blister

Any suggestions of how to treat a nipple blister? It's teeny tiny but hurts like a b!tch. DS is 3 weeks so this BF thing is still new to us both. Thanks

    Hi make sure is not red and warm! I had mastitis and it started with a small blister soooo painful! After my first mastitis my LC suggested Silverette.. I was skeptikal but i thought that even if they didn't work at least they were sterling silver and they offer on their usa site to mold them into a charm...so I gave them a try and they were the best $59 i have ever spent! I got "new " nipples thanks to Silverette and I am breastfeeding like a pro!!!

    You might also try nursing on the other side for a few days to give that side a chance to heal. You can pump or hand express to keep your supply up.

    Lanolin helps for some people, never did much for me. I like 3 Girls Holistic Nipple Cream. My nipples were a downright mess with baby's severe latch and that really helped them heal. I got it at Motherhood Maternity.
