Summertime PJ's

What do you dress your LO in during the summer months? I know it was not that long ago, but I can't remember what we dressed DS in last year!

Re: Summertime PJ's

  • We do a t-shirt (maybe jammies /maybe regular depending) and either shorts or light pajama pants. We almost always have the air on so it can be quite cool in here!

Do you think having skin exposed will be too cold? DS never sleeps with a blanket over him, so I'm thinking he'll get cold… is that ridiculous?
  • If he won't do a blanket I'd do at shirt, light pants and be sure he has socks on. It seems like socks make the biggest difference.

  • Short sleeved PJ shirt and either pants or shorts. I bought some mix and match PJ sets from Target that have 2 t-shirts, a pair of shorts, and a pair of pants and they have worked out well.

  • My DD hates blankets and covers and will take off her pajamas so all she sleeps in is her diaper. Occasionally I can sneak on a t-shirt, but if she wakes up long enough, she takes that off as well. I'm 34 weeks pregnant and have the AC on pretty hardcore (even though I sleep with the comforter pulled up to my chin) and she's just absolutely fine. I don't understand it, but her dad's the same way.

Alex wants to wear his fleece footed PJ's, so he does. We keep the a/c at 74 and he died not like blankets. He seems happy with this!
