https://mashable.com/2014/04/26/big-data-pregnancy/I thought it was an interesting experiment, trying to hide your pregnancy from big-data collectors. It reminded me of
THIS article about how Target told a man that his teenage daughter was pregnant by sending her coupons in the mail.
What's the scariest/weirdest "holy shit how do they know I'm pregnant?" thing you've ever gotten? I think for me it was just watching the side bar of ads on my facebook page suddenly become bogged down with baby stuff because I was looking at things on Target and Amazon. Or searching online while logged into my google account and then having it pop up on my smart phone.

Baby #1: expected June 2014
And the minute my insurance was billed for "ultrasound on a pregnant uterus" I hit a call from the humana healthy start program.
One time there was an ad in my sidebar for a married but dating website and they were using a picture of a friend of mine. That was a couple of years ago when FB was doing that kind of shady stuff-giving out your photos for ad usage. Maybe they still do it but now they at least don't use it on your friends. I emailed him and was like, 'UH, are you having a poorly-hidden extramarital affair?'
