hello.. happy to be here but scared to death..
I had a miscarriage in early december at 9 weeks.. We found out it was a chromosomal problem and thats why we lost the baby. We tried for a few months and actually decided this month maybe it wasn't meant to be and we should leave things alone. We have 2 boys 4 and 6. Then to our huge surprise I got a bfp yesterday. Im so nervous and just want to fast forward to the 12 week mark. Just wondering how you ladies are coping and staying sane? I have this irrational fear that something will be wrong with this baby. I want to be positive and chill out. Just really hard. But Im super excited to be here.

Congrats on your BFP and welcome! You'll find that you're not alone in the anxiously awaiting club... waiting for beta results, waiting for the first u/s, waiting to get out of the first trimester. I hope that you'll also find the PGAL board to be a big support- the ladies on here can be very supportive and understanding at times when you think you're going crazy! Asking for support as well as offering it to others is very therapeutic. We all wish we didn't have the traumatic experience of loss in common- but we do, and we're here for each other in ways that others who haven't lost can't be. Other than praying to God, I feel like most of my conversations are with these wonderful ladies! Best wishes to you for a happy, healthy 9 months!
