Lupron trigger ladies - Did you have luteal phase estrogen supplementation?

    I did antagonist protocol with 2 lupron triggers. 1 36 hours before ER and a 2nd 12 hours after my first trigger. I also did a small dose of pregnyl with the first trigger.
    TTC since May/June 2012 
    Sept 2013 testing:
    SA #1 Low motility (17%) 
    SA #2 Lower sperm count, but much higher motility
    CD 3 Bloodwork and ultrasound - Normal HSG - Clear tubes 
    Oct/Nov 2013 Cycle 1 with RE 50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI BFN  
    Nov/Dec 2013 Cycle 2 with RE 50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI BFN 
    Jan/Feb 2014 Cycle 3 with RE 50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI BFN 
    2/20/14 Follow up consult RE recommends IVF with ICSI 
    3/10/14 New patient consult with RMA NJ

    I also did antagonist protocol with lupron trigger. Bcp, follistim, menopur and ganirelix for 9 days (ganirelix added day 4). The day after ER we added estrogen support but I never made it to ET b/c of OHSS.
    Me 30 mild PCOS w/o insulin resistance DH 32 low count & motility after vasectomy reversal 
    Married 10/2007 TTC since 2013 
    IVF#1: Jan 2014 - Lupron trigger - due to high risk of severe OHSS; E2 at trigger - 6984  
    ER - 1/28 35 retrieved, 22 mature, 14 fertilized (ICSI) 
    ET - 2/2 cancelled due to mild OHSS 6 blasts frozen 
    FET #1: Mar 2014 - long lupron protocol 
    5/6/14 - Two blasts transferred, one hatching! 
    5/11 5dp5dt BFP! Beta #1 262 (9dp5dt), Beta #2 756 (13dp5dt), Beta #3 1738 (15dp5dt)
    6/3/14 - u/s showed one beautiful baby with a heartbeat of 123, EDD 1/19/15

    With my first IVF (antagonist) I did a Lupron trigger.  They gave me a small HCG booster while I was under during the retrieval.  After retrieval I was taking Estrace (oral) and Progesterone (vag supp).




    dx:  Unexplained IF
     TTC since May 2011, 1 year trying, and then 3 TI, 2 IUI = BFN
    IVF #1 (May 2013):  Antagonist Protocol: 
    24R, 18M, 15F w/ICSI; 5dt of 2 early blasts, no frosties = BFN
     IVF #2 (August 2013):  Lupron Stop Protocol: 
    28R, 23M, 15F w/ICSI; 5dt of 1 partially hatched blast, 7 frosties = BFP
    EDD 5/23/14, blighted ovum (6w6d), D&C (8w6d)
    FET #1 (April 2014):  transferred 2 5d blasts = BFP
    C.J. born 01/09/15

    I am in the middle of a freeze all cycle. My ER was April 16th with FET sometime in May. CD1 was yesterday, so tomorrow CD3 monitoring and BW. I have not taken anything yet since my trigger shots.

    For IVF #1, I was switched to a lupron trigger with an HCG boost.  After ER, I was on PIO, Endometrium, and the vivelle patches. 
    TTC since 5/2012
    12/12: c/p
    4/13: c/p
    8/13: Started seeing RE; DX: Unexplained IF, RPL testing normal, SA perfect.
    Oct - Dec '13: Clomid 25 mg + Ovidrel + IUI = BFN
    2/14: IVF #1 Gonal F + Menopur + Ganirilex + Lupron trigger w/ HCG boost= 28R, 11M, 5F. 5dt 4BB, 1 frozen 4BB    . BFN
    4/14: IVF #2 Saizen, Gonal F, Menopur, Ganirilex = 20R, 10M, 10F.  5dt of 2 4AB, 2 frozen 4BB.  +HPT 4dp5dt, Beta 4/26

    @cls78 - Do you know if you would have been on estrogen post-ET if it hadn't been a freeze all?

    @IFinTN - No worries!

    My new RE didn't mention anything about luteal phase estrogen, but I was reading this and it seems like the estrogen could be pretty important--drastic reduction in pregnancies without estrogen support. I was just wondering what was typical.

    I also did the double lupron trigger (one 36 hours before retrieval and one 12 hours later) and I was on 3 vivelle estrogen patches every  48 hours which was then reduced to 2 every 48 hours and I was also on PIO injections every night and crinone gel. My RE checks levels once a week so that makes me feel a little better that they're at least watching all the levels. 
    TTC#1 since 2012 
    Dx: PCOS
    3 rounds of clomid - no response
    1 IUI - BFN
    1st IVF - Possible ectopic 
    2nd IVF April 2014: BFP Beta 1: 493 Beta 2: 1775
