NBR: toddler sleep question

To those with little monsters running around already, ever have one "go to bed" 4hrs early??

Long story short, DD fought nap time today so we took her out and tried again around 3:30. She fell asleep finally just after 4 pm. She's still asleep at 9:30...

So now I'm paranoid that she's going to wake up and be ready to start her day at 3am. Not exactly what my achy pregnant body needs.

Any advice on what I can expect?

    If it were mine, she would be up around midnight to play. I hope your DD does not do this to you!!

    I've had mine go to bed 2 hours early after skipping a nap and wake up at a normal time.

    We've done this before but normally not more than 2ish hours early. I have never put him down before 5:30 and bedtime is normally 8-8:30, though he has been pushing it back to 9-9:30 lately. :(

    Yeah we totally didn't expect her to stay asleep. We thought she would be up by 6ish and then go to bed at her normal time (8:00-8:30). So this was very much a shock for us.

    Eww yea we usually don't do naps past 5 and even then it's 9:30 before he goes back to sleep (but will sleep in till 8-9 easily). Today he was SOOO busy and finally fell asleep at 4:30 for 30 min in the car and had a bday party at 5. He was still 100% full speed ahead till 10pm tonight. If he went to bed at 4pm for the night, he'd probably be up at 4am!

    If DD misses a nap, I usually put her down for bed 1-2hours early. She normally sleeps as usual in the morning. But I never had her go to sleep 4 hours early. Hope she lets you get some rest tonight!

    Unfortunately, when DS misses a nap he falls asleep early but then wakes in the night ready for the day :( fingers crossed for you that she stays asleep and you get some rest!

    Ugh, that's no fun. My kid would be up in the middle of the night. Of course, my kid also just went down about 4 hours late (11:30). Here's to hoping she sleeps in tomorrow?!?
