For mommas who make their own purées, how do you travel with them? I'm talking just running errands during the day where I won't be able to come home for lunch. I freeze mine in ice cube trays. Should I defrost and pack them in a cooler, leave them at room temp, keep frozen and ask for a bowl of hot water? It would be the most convenient to defrost and not worry about heating on the go but, since there are no preservatives, how long can it stay out?
So what do you do?
TIA
