So I realized last time that I may be the only one who has a doctor with Saturday appointments, but it's worth a shot. Very excited for the anatomy scan today. (We are team green). Can't wait to see baby again.
Baby looked healthy and was moving a lot. It actually punched right at the ultrasound wand lol. Luckily for us, apparently the way the baby was positioned, we couldn't have found out the sex if we wanted to, so we didn't have to worry about any slips from the tech. We were both surprised and maybe slightly disappointed to hear baby was measuring 40th percentile. I am 5'10" and DH is 6'2", so we both expect a big baby. Doctor had no concerns, but since my goal is to only gain 25 pounds (rather than 30 or 35) DH jokes that I'm starving the baby. I have gained 7 pounds already and the doctor is happy with that.
Saturday appointments were almost a requirement in choosing a doctor. I don't know how full time working women get all these appointments in during the week, especially come third trimester. Fortunately, we live in the Chicagoland area, so there are many doctors to choose from.
