Please advice! Baby sleeping all day

My 28 day old baby has been sleeping all day!! She had 4 feedings last night every town hours then early morning the after her bath she has been sleeping ... We even went to visit my grandma and she didn't wake up when we put her in the car seat . She are again was awake for about an hour then back to bed now she has slept 5.5 hours I managed to feed her but she still sleeping... Is this normal pattern? Last night she she has screaming from 8 pm to 12 am . Nothing made her happy finally got her to sleep at that time... I'm pretty worried she has had 5-6 wet diapers today she has to woke up to eat on her own ... Any advice?

    Since it's just one day I would say it's fine.  Does she always get a bath in the morning?  My LO sleeps like a rock on bath nights so if bathing in the morning is out of the norm I would say she was just sleeping well from the bath and it happened to be during the day because the bath was in the morning.  Also since she was so upset the night before, it makes sense that she would make up for some sleep the next day.

    I'm in the camp that it is ok to wake a sleeping baby during the day. I will alway do what ever I can to wake up DS during the day to eat every 3 hours.

    First time doing this. She is not hard to wake up she is latching and I'm gonna top her w. Bottle so she continue sleeping for the night . If it continues by tomorrow I will call md. I know she is growing and her patterns are changing. I'm a first time mom so everything scares me and I have no clue what I'm doing

    My LO has days like this - yesterday actually he was awake a little in the morning but then slept most of the day, only waking to eat.  I think it's just a growth spurt and he was up more today.  As long as she's eating, having plenty of diapers, I think it's pretty normal.

    She woke up to eat but I'm always offering her the boob... I'm trying to increase supply and stop ff

    Growing is hard work! I think this is normal for a couple of days. My baby recently had a growth spurt where basically if she wasn't eating (or screaming for food) she was sleeping. Like a teenager.... eat sleep eat sleep. It lasted a couple of days and now she's back to having a few longer periods of wakefulness. She is usually awake for an hour or two, then sleeps for two or three hours. Repeat.

    I have nothing to input except that I wanted to applaud you for putting "advice" and not "advise" in the title of this thread. This does not happen often.
