I have a 15 page paper due on May 9. This weekend I've dragged my husband up to my parents house in the woods while they're out of town for work to force myself to get this damn thing going. So far, I've been on a lovely walk with the dogs, bumped quite a bit, done laundry, and made breakfast. Hubbs is now taking a nap (with the dogs) and I'm watching old Daily Show clips. Sigh. I should have taken myself somewhere with no internet access.

I'm supposed to finish my classes today, and I have ZERO motivation.

However, I did manage to find bumgenius diapers in the Carroll print in both newborn and OS. Had to resort to eBay for the OS, and I'm sure I overpaid, but damn it I needed that print.

@kmbk27 I keep telling myself that as soon as this paper is done/the semester is over I can really put some time into doing something that MATTERS... like researching my cloth diaper options!

Today has been great so far. I had a chiropractor appointment, DS took a 2 hour nap and DH is smoking ribs for dinner.

I'm at my last 12 he clinical today, I'm hungry , my feet are puffy and I have to study for 3 more finals for tues and wed!! I am soooo ready for this semester to be over!

Last night after I put the kids to bed I got in the shower. Two minutes later I hear "cha cha cha"... I look out the shower door to see my husband and two sons performing and cha cha dance line in and then out of the bathroom. So freaking cute and funny. So much for a bed time routine haha!

Spent half the day by the pool with DD...I stayed in the shade pretty much the whole time but I still feel like my skin is dry and crispy! Buuuuut....tonight is TACO NIGHT!

To the obnoxiously loud woman on your phone at the nail salon.. No one wants to hear you trying to convince your friend to become a stripper. I don't care a job is a job but you are being so completely loud in a relatively quiet and relaxing environment. Also I'm sure your poor nail technician doesn't appreciate you eating your bowl of frozen yogurt in between loud laughs on your phone. Seriously how rude and disrespectful can you be??!

We are having a shrimp boil tonight at my mom's house after a day of yard work and cleaning. Baby girl was having a dance recital that DF and my mom were able to feel today.

So I found out I'm having a girl on Thursday, and somehow THIS happened today....

I got some random things....sleepers, outfits, and even a sweat shirt from NB size to 2T (mostly) in the clearance section. It was soooo hard to resist the summer dresses for next year! The top right one is a romper that says "Everyone stay calm. I'm a doctor." for DS to wear when we go to the hospital.

OMG! You remembered his balloon magic! I think I heart you! Yes, he was totally right for the second time!! I'll be framing the 'It's a Girl' balloon he bought in January and hanging it next to the 'It's a Boy' balloon he got last time. :x

@Trombgirl I love the clothes! I know as soon as I find out the sex I will be doing the same thing.

I thought pregnancy brain was taking over before. DH put on Mallrats and I was so confused because I kept saying this is not the beginning I remember. I watched this movie thousands of times. Turns out he hit extended version which has an alternate beginning.

I worked pretty much all day yesterday while giving hubby the silent treatment over an argument from the day before. Then he gave me a quick back massage, bought me chocolate covered strawberries and cleaned all the bathrooms...he's back on my good side :-)

Today I have a few more hours of work to do and gotta do my hair (at least 3 additional hours of work). Laundry is also on the list. UGH!

But tonight I plan on winding down and letting hubby feed me those chocolate covered strawberries!

I have been off from work since Holy Thursday, and go back tomorrow. My sleep schedule is all kinds of screwed up. Staying up super late last night to root for Jon Jones did not help. If I was not pregnant, tonight would be a two Tylenol PM night to get well rested for work tomorrow. Oh well.

Went car shopping with DH yesterday. It was nice for us to have some alone time (DS was with my mom) but was immediately reminded why I hate used car shopping with the very first car we looked at. At least we got to have a very tasty dinner at Gordon Biersch when we were done!

Today I have sat on my butt, a big thank you to our small Thomas the Train collection for keeping DS occupied most of the day!

Baby girl just took her diaper off and smeared poop around her bedroom. I didn't want to clean today, obviously I'm not I'll be doing chemical scrubbing...on everything! Thanks baby girl for thinking mommy needs to get off her butt and do something productive.

DH went down to the city this weekend with his friend from MO. I'm half angry at him for going on a weekend that he knew I had to work/volunteer for a fundraiser walk...and half miserable b/c I miss him like crazy and it makes me nervous to be home alone.

I didn't do the laundry so I'd have some of his dirty undershirts to sleep with. I've also dug out one of his old baseball bats to keep under the bed.
