rash gaurd v. swim suit

Am hoping others can offer insight since the sun block/sunscreen advice was very helpful & many of you have been swimming with LO for a while. Am thinking I want to get LO a long sleeved rash gaurd for swimming so there is less skin expoised to the sun. Am wondering if it is a pain to put on /or remove when wet & if it is better to get short sleeved vs. a swim suit that has diaper access....

thoughts & advice? thank you inadvance!

I found a couple of these at the HA outlet and really like them. I think regular bathing suits are adorable, so we often use those for indoors or on overcast days, but if LO will be exposed to the sun, I tend to use these rash guards. They are easy to get off because of the zipper.

I personally like the rash guards, I used both on vacation. The bathing suits are cute but more of a pain to cover a wiggling toddler in sunblock. I feel they protect better too.

I prefer short sleeve rash guard suits. We have one from carters and my favorite one is from Crazy 8. I considered the long sleeve but was concerned it would be too hot for her. I know I wouldn't want to wear long sleeves. But, with the short sleeve you are still covering up the shoulders upper arms and back.
