Good: nursery paint is done Bad: still tired Ugly: Found out I gave Gestational Diabetes and good is just not the same
What are you looking forward to the most after your pregnancy ? I'm looking forward to having my own little family and having family time with my little man. Oh and pizza!
Week/Fruit: 27 weeks/ rutabaga - third tri!!! Wahoo!!!!
The Good: I seemed to have found some energy this week (before the sickness set in).
The Bad: difficulty sleeping
Ugly: sore ribs - I can't seem to lay on either side for an extended period of time without my ribs starting to hurt. It makes for a miserable night.
What are you looking forward to the most after your pregnancy ? Finally having my baby girl that I have always dreamed of! I am so excited to dress her and put bows in her hair. I just want to do all the girly stuff with her. We had our boy first, so now we will have the perfect little family. I'm looking forward to feeling like our family is complete.
What are you looking forward to the most after your pregnancy ? Having the baby of course, but eating whatever I want and taking care of a few home improvement projects are running 2nd place right now.
Good: The end is near Bad: Baby is still transverse so I am feeling every movement, every kick, punch, elbow, etc. and my sides are getting bruised! Ugly: swollen lady bits and pubic bone feels bruised....just not happy down there
What are you looking forward to the most after your pregnancy ?AIR! feels difficult to get a full breath of air...and booze....but mostly air.
Good--the countdown is getting real Bad--LO now kicks the shhhhhhhhh... Out of me. She settled into the same spot DS did with what I'm sure is her butt poking out the top right of my stomach. She push out on it so hard I was lopsided and pushing her down with 2 hands to keep myself from screaming in pain. I scared DS with that one-- never had a "kick" that intense! Ugly-- pretty sure I tore my groin on top of SPD.. I can't walk correctly and have double the waddle.
GTKY: common but true-- I'm looking forward to actually seeing and holding her. This pregnancy has been really rough and now that the end is near and I feel her more than ever I just want her out.... And a bottle a wine, wine would be good too oh and not being nauseous anymore.
Week/Fruit: 29 squash Good: I'm having fun with all the movement- and poking back;) I try to guess what body part is trying to break through my belly, and appreciate the ease of caring for him right now, and that I'll really miss this fun part of pregnancy. Also made up my mind, and OB's for a RCS. Happy I can guarentee I won't do both (labor ecs) this time.
Bad: carpal tunnel and numb finger. Ugly:
Joint pains are intolerable many days and I'm resting way more then I want to. I'm also hoping my allergic issues are just pregnancy related... What are you looking forward to the most after your pregnancy ? testing if my allergy issues are just pregnancy related. Not hurting so much. And holding the little guy in my arms- plus getting to see my two ds's together- my 4 .5 year old is so psyched!!
I wasn't able to check in yesterday so I'm late Week 28, Eggplant! The Good: I passed my 1 hr glucose test (this is amazing because I've never passed it before) The Bad: I'm noticing my arm goes numb depending on how I'm sitting/laying and it's a bit annoying. The Ugly: just how uncomfortable I feel at times, especially getting out of bed or working out. GTKY: I'm looking forward to meeting my little guy! And adult beverages once in awhile
Fruit: Rutabaga/ 27 weeks Good/Bad/Ugly: we made it to Texas! I haven't taken my 3 hour yet due to the move since I failed my one hour in Boston so we will see what happens. She's been moving around a lot more lately which is good but the movements still feel really foreign. Since overworking my body while moving I've been more crampy and sore- no good. And sleeping is becoming a problem.
GTKY: I'm excited to meet my tiny human. Also excited to eventually have a margarita again. Someday.
We had an all day birthing class yesterday so I didn't have a chance to post either.
Week: 30/cucumber - @ghostof5letters did you do a random object thread this week?
Good: I passed my 3hr GD test!! Bad: Little Dude is turning into Big Boy. I'm with @Bpargood about the little bum pushing out of the stomach. He did it last night while my BFF had her hand on my stomach. Hurts like a MF. Ugly: the childbirthing class scared the crap out of me... I need to start exercising more and start stretching out my taint.
GTKY: I'm looking forward to see Logan's beautiful little face at that first moment. Later on - a margarita. 4wks on - sushi date with all I can drink Happy Buddahs with a pump & dump sesh.
BFP#1: 08/30/12 EDD 04/30/12 m/c 09/04/12 6wks BFP#2: 01/27/13 EDD 10/06/13 missed m/c 02/25/13 9wks BFP#3: 10/30/13 EDD 07/05/14 Our little dude was born on 07/10/14 @ 2:19p
Good: I think (fingers crossed) that my m/s is now a thing of the past - I haven't thrown-up in a week!!!
Bad: Tired, always tired. Sore legs/hips, sciatic pain, headaches (see the Ugly for the cause), very little appetite (which sucks because I can actually keep food down now).
Ugly: Insomnia!!! Uggh, I'm exhausted and keep waking up in the middle of the night to pee (between 3-4am) and then can't fall back asleep. Oh, and I'm getting dualing calf and shin cramps in my right leg (I feel my calf starting to cramp, so I flex my foot to stetch my calf which causes my shin to start cramping, so I point my toe to stretch my shin which causes my calf to start to cramp again... repeat).
What are you looking forward to the most after your pregnancy? Well most obviously holding my baby boy and my DD first meeting him. Other than that... enjoying a marjarita or a beer with some BBQ in the summer.
I am feeling okay. Some contractions that are bad, but I think it has more to do with me being short and my belly going out and not up anymore...no more room to go up. Still working full time. But my doctor does not think that I will be able to do it to the end of pregnancy with my 12 hour shifts. Really enjoying warm baths.
The gestational diabetes has been under control with diet, so I am very happy....Maybe we caught it in time and will not end up with a big 9 pound baby due to the diabetes.
Being a NICU nurse we are starting to see a lot of July babies coming, which is a little bit scary because I know I have the same size baby inside me and makes me thankful for every day that this one stays in!!!
