XP: good thoughts please and any advice?

I posted this on PAIF but thought you ladies might have advice as well. Went in for my routine cervical check and growth scan today and was told that my cervix had shortened to 0.9cm from 3.1cm two weeks ago. I was sent upstairs to labor and delivery and put on a monitor to check for contractions. Apparently my uterus is temperamental and they detected some small dynamic changes on the monitor. They put me on Procardia 4 times a day and I go back next Friday to get checked again. I'm home on modified bed rest until then but I'm seriously freaking out. The only bright spot is that the babies look incredible. Both about a pound and a half and growing exactly as they should. I need these babies to stay put awhile longer and will stand on my head if it means they'll stay in there longer! Any good thoughts you can send my and the babies' way would be much appreciated! Anyone have any advice to make this more bearable?

    Advice.... Hope n pray if you do that and positive thoughts. Try to relax by massages or reading. Good luck.

    I was put on modified bedrest for shortened cervix. Made it six more weeks before I delivered my boys. Rest up. Your body is doing a tremendous amount of work. Sending T&Ps.

    I went on HBR at 23,5 and was induced at 36,4. You've got this mama! Sending stay put babies vibes!

    IVF (BCPs starting 10/30/12, ER 11/18/12, 5dt of 1 beautiful, healthy embryo 11/23/12)
    BFP 12/02/12, u/s @ 6w,5d showed 2 HBs! Identical twins!!
    Bed rest from 21w-35w due to short cervix, hospital bed rest from 23w-32w due to PTL
    Our rainbows were born 07/19/13 (36w, 5d)

    No advice but definitely sending thoughts and prayers that your babies can hang out inside for many more weeks!!

    queer couple - 32 (me) & 33 (my love) years old - donor sperm,

    Our IF/TTC journey since Nov 2012.

    Me: dx of DOR in Nov. 2012. Low AMH, AFC - 6, Normal FSH, SS-A (RO) Antibodies (Autoimmune issues), tubes clear, Sono (November 2013) NORMAL! <p>

    7 IUI's - December 2012-September 2013.  Medicated, Injected, Triggered.... all BFN.

    Normal AMH & FSH, AFC ~27, blocked tube dx'd via HSG in 2012.   Hydrosalpinx & ovarian cyst dx'd in May 2013.
    dx of Stage IV Endo & bilateral salpinectomy in June 2013.

    Partner IVF#1a- December 2013 - H's eggs, my Ute - CANCELLED due to low response
    Partner IVF #1b - February 2014 - H's eggs, my Ute - ER February 4 (10 retrieved, 3 fertilized), Transfer Feb 7 of one Grade 1 and one Grade 2 day 3 embryos.  1 - Day 3, Grade 1 frosty saved.   BFP - 6dp3dt via FRER, Beta #1 - 110, Beta #2 175, Beta #3 - 348, Beta #4 - 2222!, Beta #5 - 4255.  Ultrasound (6w1d) - 2 heartbearts!  

    We lost our beautiful Twin baby girls on June 18, 2014.  Tavin Sara and Casey Elizabeth were born at 21 weeks gestation and were absolutely beautiful, precious, amazing babies.  We miss our daughters every day and love them with all our hearts.

    I am in the same situation but my dr doesn't believe in bedrest, he has me on a modified schedule. I went from over 4 cm to 1cm in two weeks. I go weekly for check ups and the last two weeks my cervix stayed put - the meds helped. By 28 weeks my dr said cervix naturally shortens so they will stop measuring and I'll stay on meds.

    Did they give you the FFN test? I am getting those every two weeks which gives me some relief. Dr said if I have contractions to go to L&D right away since it's harder to stop.

    Interesting to see the differences in care. I went from 3cm to 1.5cm in 3 weeks. At 1.5 I was sent to L&D for strict bed rest until at least 28, but more likely until the end. I was 26w when I went in.

    Best baby-staying thoughts coming your way though!

    Oh gosh, no advice, but many t&ps to you and I hope those babies stay put!!
    Me: 37 DH: 40 TTC since 9/09
    #1 BFP 1/10/11; missed m/c discovered 7w5d
    IF Dx: Endo, hetero MTHFR mutation, poor morphology
    #1 IUI: 1/18/12 = BFN
    #1 IVF/ICSI 4/2/12 = 2 x 7-cell and 1 x 5-cell transferred (3dt) = BFP!!
    H was born at 41w2d on 12/29/12 - be still my heart!
    #2 IVF/ICSI 1/19/14 = 2 x 8 cells transferred (3dt) = BFP!! EDD 10/09/14
    M&W born at 37 weeks on 9/18/14 - I am the momma of 3 boys!!!
