My daughter rolls her eyes in the back of her head as soon as she latches....hysterical. She also scrunches her nose when she smiles, yells at me when she's wound up, giggles when I nuzzle her neck, and she sucks her left thumb with her thumb in her mouth, but her other fingers are facing down (she sucks her right thumb correctly....that is when I allow her to in order for her to calm down a bit).
My LO "yells" at me when I put her down and walk away where she can't see me. I posted this on another thread, but she also buries her face in me (my arm or chest) when she's sleepy and falls asleep that way.
Sophia cuddles up in my neck when I pick her up from daycare. She scrunches her nose when she latched on. She wiggles her feet and plays with my shirt under my arm when she eats. Nursing her is my fave time of the day!
If you let her fuss for any amount of time, expect her to yell at you the same amount of time or longer. Even with the boob out and in her face. She's got to scream at you until she is done reprimanding you.
Naiya has a lot of quirks. When you're carrying her and trying to have a conversation with someone else, she'll think you're talking to her and jump in and start babbling. Another would be her sucking on my shoulder, arms, & hands whenever its possible..
My favorite is his morning poop routine. He eats a huge amount right before going to bed and never poops while he's sleeping overnight. When he wakes up around 7am, he (again) eats a ton. All of that food sitting in his belly means that approximately 20-30 minutes after his "breakfast," he will need to poop. So I put him in his bouncer seat to look around and hang out. All of the sudden he'll get super quiet and look like he's concentrating really hard. Then the rumble will come. Immediately afterward, he'll be super happy and kicking his legs like a mad man. I wait a few minutes to make sure that he's all done, but I can only wait about 5 minutes because then he starts trying to stand in his bouncer seat -- he can't stand sitting in poop, lol.
Whenhes full and you pick him up to burp him he is already in a "burping position" butt stuck out so he is sitting on your forearm stretching his little arms. Its adorable. Also when he smiles big he then tries to cram his hand in there. Luke yes sitting there thinking " oh this is a big smile. quick! This has to be the time I get a whole fist in there!"
Am I the only one getting boob punched? When she eats but isn't sleepy, she enjoys trying to grab my shirt strap while eating. When she's done eating she pulls off but continues punch smacking to grab that strap, but now she is winding up to do so. Even after she grabs it she continues lol.
She also always smiles during her MOTN feeding as if she's saying, "oh good, you came!"
She does burh her face in me when she gets sleepy as well, and also rubs her eyes while eating before she falls asleep.
She goes all crazy happy and tenses with excitement when she sees her bottle and she's hungry. It's so cute!
She also gets incredibly serious when she's splashing in the bathtub. It's like its the hardest job she's ever had to do.
She also knows when you stop a feed to burp her. As soon as I start lifting her up, she goes nuts and screams until she burps and gets her bottle back. Very funny.
DD needs it to be quiet when she nurses. She doesnt mind TV or radio. But yesterday I was nursing her and DH is almost done with his bowl of ice cream and scrapes the bottom with his spoon. DD unlatches and turns her head and just stares at him. She will then resume nursing and he will do it again and she keeps doing the same thing. Then if he doesnt stop she just looks at me as if she is saying, "Mom you NEED to do something about this." lol )
Another 2 forgot: she laughs at herself in the mirror bc she kicking her legs like a fiend and as soon as she sees her big brother, she lights up and coos at him....it melts my heart!
J will roll his eyes back in his head and raise his eyebrows when he latches on. I call it his wine snob face, it's like he's saying hmmmm that's a fine vintage lol
Abby sings with me. I thought she was just doing "baby talk" so I stopped to listen to her but she stopped too. So I would start singing to her again and she starts "talking". So now we sing together. If we are really lucky, since my singing voice is so bad, the dog will start howling too. We have a band!

DS laughs at me when I'm feeding him. He also likes to suck on his bottom lip. He can't suck his thumb without choking so he puts his whole fist in his mouth. When he attention cries he cries for a little then looks at me and starts again.

DS LOVES my 4 year old niece. It makes me so happy. He smiles as soon as he sees her.
Whenever he's fussing after waking up from a nap, MOTN, anytime... he smiles super big at me when I go to get him. Makes my heart melt for sure.
He's starting to act like he's shy when he gets really excited and giggling he'll hid his face in my neck.
He facial expressions with his eyebrows/wrinkly forehead are getting better by the day. So funny!! He has huge eyes which makes them even better!
Love my boy to pieces!
