Very lethargic.

I'm so tired all the time even though I'm getting sleep. Last night night I slept when LO did and got 7 hours broken up yet I'm still so tired. I'm taking iron supplements, don't know if its cause of the bleeding or part of recovering from the delivery? Im 3 weeks pp. Anyone else feeling this way?

  • I tend to be extra tired if I'm woken in the middle of deep sleep (as opposed to lighter parts of a sleep cycle). Even though you're getting a decent amount, the frequent wake ups may mean that you're not getting quality sleep. Do you nap? That helps me a lot.

  • Seconded. At 3 weeks pp I couldn't stay awake for more than a few hours at a time (luckily LO agreed)
  • I felt that way around 3 weeks too. Your body is still recovering too. Plus sometimes DS wakes up in the middle of a deep sleep cycle and then I'm exhausted the next day.

Welcome to parenthood? :) I'm going on 6 years of feeling lethargic.

THIS! Been lethargic for 1072 days! Or about 3 years, however you want to look at it.
