It looks so good short and to me much more healthy.
Here is my take on the long/short hair looking like a boy. Some women actually look MORE feminine with shorter hair, they have finer, delicate features and long hair just hides that. When they cut their hair short those features are brought out.

I am very sorry your husband said that. It was shitty of him. I hope you have a girl friend close by that can go meet you for some coffee or shopping or both. If i were in your shoes id tell DH how mad you are and if he doesn't want to go out with you this weekend you will go by yourself. I really hope you dont stay home this weekend. and your H needs to do a serious apology.
