So I have an 8 month old son that I still breastfeed, but he is on solids now. I was not so lucky after I had him and my period returned within a couple months after I had him. So I keep track on an app on my phone of my cycles. This month I am now going on 32 days, about a week when I was "supposed" to start. My cycles have been from 23-28 days for the last 6 months. I have taken SEVERAL hpt's and they all come back negative. Is it possible that nursing could still affect this?? I think I'm trying to be hopeful. DH and I did have sex after the supposed time I "should" have ovulate, so I thought I was way out of the clear. Btw we do not do birth control, but rather just natural means for it. i did start sertraline for 3 days for some anxiety I was having but quit because it was having negative side effects with me, didn't even take a week. Does anyone know if that can do something to your cycle? Of course i'd be happy if I was pregnant but this was NOT a planned one if it is. Sorry I'm rambling, I'm just needing somewhere to talk about this and to see if anyone else has gone through this before?? Need some encouragement
Re: need some advice...late period...
My period came back at 8 weeks PP and was regular until a month ago when it was a week late. I'm sure my panic attack is still fresh in @CaliforniaDream87's mind.
I'm not pregnant, it was just a wacky cycle.
