I just posted this to my blog so thought I'd share since we're all on budgets.

One of the things that gets me super jazzed as a mom is saving money.
As a single mom without child support, it's essential.
Last night, I was super excited over my latest diaper deal from Amazon.
I had previously had the free trial of Amazon Mom with my account, but realized I could sign up for an Amazon Student trial since I had a .edu email address. So, I made a new Amazon account with an email address I hadn't used before, linked my .edu email to it, confirmed it, and found I was able to also get Amazon Mom for free. The Student gets me SIX MONTHS of free 2 day shipping vs. the Amazon Mom which was three.
So here's the deal:
1.) They are running a diaper deal right now where you get 50% off your first case of certain diapers with a new Amazon Mom membership. 2.) If you select Subscribe & Save, you get another 20% off. You can cancel this as soon as it ships with no penalty.
3.) I clipped an Amazon coupon for $1.50 off.
4.) I had a $5 Amazon gift certificate code that I won through Crowdtap.
The grand total for 124 Pampers Swaddlers was $3.87!
Another awesome diaper deal I got today was at Target.
I prefer their brand (Up & Up) over all the brand names.
They are currently having a sale on cases of diapers, $24.99 each and when you buy two, you get a $10 gift card. Couple that with the 5% discount from the Cartwheel App, & a $1.50 printable coupon from Target's website, 360 diapers were $37!
So in the past two days, we got 484 diapers for about $40, which is less than the regular price of just 186 Pampers Swaddlers diapers at Babies R Us! Score!
