Am I too late...?

The "how long will you stay on the bump" prompted me to ask. Can I re-join without being creepy? I've never been a big poster to begin with so after I had my baby and missed out on all the birth announcements I felt weird posting anything. I spend way too much time on this board I seriously don't know what I will do with my time once its gone.

Quick info about me because I know I never posted enough for anyone to remember. I'm a FTM. I had my baby girl Feb 18. Everything looked great after she was born, the next morning she turned blue and her O2 saturation was down in the 50's. We spent 12 days in the NICU for pulmonary stenosis, everything looks good for her now, we follow up with cardiology regularly and probably will for the rest of her life, but the prognosis is good.

I love keeping up with you ladies and feel maybe I shouldn't be a creepy lurker anymore..is it too late?

    Welcome back!! I have left pulmonary artery stenosis but it wasn't found until early 2013.

    I believe its pretty uncommon in newborns the doctor that did her catheterization said he sees maybe one or two a year. I'm thankful he knew what needed to be done, now its just wait for the heart muscle to continue to repair.

    It was very scary, they had to life flight her to a hospital two hours away and we had an ice storm that day so getting her there was back and forth between helicopter and ambulance for a while. Finally they decided on helicopter, they wouldn't let me on the helicopter with her so watching the helicopter take off with her in it was the scariest, hardest moment of my life.

    Oh man I just can't! ((Hugs)) to you for being strong and getting thru it. Im glad they did what was needed to get the best care. I know being a mother we want to fix everything and be there so it's hard. Make sure you show her off in next weeks HDBD :)
