DD, I hate grad school for stealing my desire to read for fun for so long. DH got me the Hunger Games books last week since I like the movies and I have been reading ever since. I took a break from school about a year ago and I am just now starting to enjoy reading for ME again. I have read more books for fun in the last week than I have read in the last 6 years.

i hate you stupid fancy refrigerator. not only do you insist on freezing all my produce you are "too new" to be fixed by a regular appliance guy who WONT charge me up the ass for repairs.

on a related note, i hate you already stupid GE repairman.

@annibes - oh my gosh i LOVED that series. couldn't put them down!!!!! book 1 was amazing, 2.. well, i was a little meh about it, but 3 was unbelievably good.

and i am envious you get to read now, i am headed to grad school next month and am trying to get in all my last minute opportunities to read for pleasure.

They are good books! I loved the twist in 2 and am on 3 now. So good.

Good luck in school! I managed my masters but am on a possibly permanent hiatus from a doctoral program because I had myself so exhausted I couldn't function!

OMG new DDF for me:

DH continues to cook his nuts every night while he works on his laptop in the recliner. I mean, it's real work- I know he actually needs to use the computer- but we bought a nice desk to work at and he ignores it! Maybe having his legs squished together with a laptop on top for hours a night isn't contributing to our issues, but until we have another baby in our house, do what the eff I say to make me feel better!

(For the record, he did get up and go to the desk when I told him to quit roasting my future kids)

@annibes‌ , welcome to THG fandom! You're not a real fan if you haven't read to books, too! And @Jodee37‌ it's funny which books you liked. I was the opposite favoring book 2 but I thought 3 was a bit slow for the first half. Can't wait for the next two movies!

I made the best cheesecake ever this week. It is so so good. Light, creamy, oh so smooth. But I got too full from just one slice. I want to eat it all!!!

That's the thing about cheesecake. It's annoyingly delicious, and too filling at the same time. I want to eat all the cheesecake too. Stop being so hard, cheesecake.

@annibes, Yeah, they're splitting the final book into two movies. It makes sense to me because it's long and a lot happens. But I'm sure it also has something to do with making more money (that's what they did with the Twilight series and Harry Potter). I am just glad they got a new director after the first movie. I was really disappointed with the first one and was happy to see the second one got so much better.

Logically I know that, but everytime previously I've gotten a BFP by 9dpo. So it feels pretty hopeless. It doesn't help that my 2 local BFFs and I were all TTC, and one just got her BFP yesterday. All our boys are around the same age (mine is the oldest by 7m) and are best friends. It just breaks my heart to think that they may be having their 2nd around he same time and I won't be doing it with them. I should have had the oldest again. But here we are, one living child, one stillborn and TTC#3.
