Hi loves! Sorry for the delay in posting this. I was traveling all day yesterday.
Update us! What's new? What's old? Bitch and vent. Celebrate any successes!
QOTW: I just made a stack of waffles. mmmmmmm What are your favorite breakfast foods?

Re: Bi-weekly Wine and Cheese Party - One day late
Congrats on being so far along in the fostering process

@GrailSeeker14 I hope all of your testing goes well. GL with the writing. Some days, I'm so glad to be done with school. Part of me does miss it, though
AFM: I'm on cd11, non medicated cycle. Some of you may know, but first IUI was a bust and then I had 7 cysts at my next baseline u/s.
I was pretty upset and feeling defeated but that has passed for the most part.
My H and I started therapy, as a proactive measure. We really liked our first session.
I also started fertility yoga, so I'm feeling good about doing something else positive

QOTW - I love homemade waffles but we have been making some blueberry pancakes that are perfection. I have a weakness for carbs in the morning so english muffins, cereal, blueberry muffins, and french toast have been my favorite at some point. Bacon, eggs and hashbrowns are always good also.
@GrailSeeker14 - Moving forward with testing sounds like a good step for you. I hope you can some answers and a more concrete plan for moving forward. As far as being distracted, can you find a no-internet zone to write in? It could be a designated spot in your house or a quiet location somewhere else.
@maddielynn321 - Hey lady! Congrats on the choice to foster!
@rachaeleigh - I'm sorry for the cysts but glad your doctor is watching you closely. I have a fertility yoga DVD but it was not my favorite either. I'm terrible about doing yoga at home but really want to get back into doing it.
ETA - I realized while we were making breakfast that I forgot to put in an update about me.
TTCAL - I finally went and saw a new OB since moving. I'm not 100% on board with this one but he did agree to do the blood testing that I wanted (updated AMH, testosterone and DHEA levels) and said he wants to do a cholesterol check, thyroid panel, and some other stuff. He is having me wait until 3 dpo so he can do that blood work also. He wants me back on CD21 for a progesterone check - I'll come in at 7dpo, tyvm. I'm just riding out the 2WW now.
Non-TTCAL - I'm officially admitted to practice here! Yay! I've updated my resume and am sending out applications now.

@maddielynn321 Congrats on deciding to foster!
@LaRomana09 I'm sorry for all the cysts. I hope they go away soon.
I'm still on BCP waiting to start my suppression medication next weekend. I stop the pills next Friday. I have my baseline ultrasound tomorrow so I am hoping everything looks good and we won't get cancelled. The RN called to say that the doctor also wants to do an endometrial biopsy just in case we transfer. I'm terrified of the pain. I asked the girls on the IF board what to expect and a few of them said the pain was so bad they got sick
QOTW: I love homemade waffles with PB and syrup.

@uneek1323 Thanks for the check-in. ((hugs)) I’m sorry to hear that you had another episode of the severe pain and that you had to deal with announcements and insensitive comments.
@GrailSeeker14 Sorry for AF showing up. ((hugs)) Good luck with all the testing!
@maddielynn321 Hey! That is so awesome that you’re working on being a foster parent.
@rachaeleigh ((Hugs)) Sorry it didn’t work out and for the cysts. Kick you while you’re down, huh? It sounds like you’re taking some positive steps forward with the yoga and therapy.
@buggirl72 Good luck with the applications! I’m glad your new OB is agreeing to run those tests. Did you just not get a good vibe from him?
@laromana09 FX that AF doesn’t keep you waiting for long.
@jbasore1123 FX for a good ultrasound tomorrow. I hope that the biopsy is not as bad as you’re expecting.
@wickedsugar Hi!
@jap618 I’m glad that you were able to get good timing in this cycle. Good luck!
Update: Well, BFN yesterday and today, so my first IUI was a bust. I got off the phone with my RE's nurse a little while ago and she said that they might increase my letrozole and possibly add injects immediately after. We're going to do another IUI as long as the timing is ok.
The dilema I have about this cycle is that we're going on vacation starting May 9th. We're driving to Utah and meeting up with another couple, spending a couple of days at their house, then visiting a couple of the parks there. We can always push back the date and leave on the 10th. Depending on when AF shows up tomorrow or in the next couple of days, I'll be on CD 15-17 on the 8th. This past cycle was weird, but past medicated cycles, I've O'd on CD 13, 14, 16, and 16. What would you do? Meds and TI, meds and IUI, no meds?
QOTW: I love breakfast. My ultimate favorite is probably waffles with fresh fruit and whipped cream.

@uneek1323 (((hugs))) sorry you had a painful experience again. Following up with your doc sounds like a good idea.
@GrailSeeker14 sorry about AF, but at least you got your testing done.
@maddielynn321 hi! How awesome that you guys are almost through the process to foster!
@rachaeleigh sorry about the double blow, but I am glad you enjoyed your first therapy session.
@buggirl72 so glad you are able to advocate for yourself with this new dr. Also, I am totally with you on the breakfast carbs! I love them all!
@LaRomana09 FX that AF makes a timely appearance!
@jbasore1123 I hope your u/s goes well and the biopsy end up being less painful than you are expecting. ((Hugs))
@wickedsugar hi!!
@jap618 FX for you lady!!
@luciddreamer106 sorry for the BFN. I don't really have any advice for your next cycle. I hope your timing works out that it isn't an issue.

As for me, I am still on my never ending cycle. I know it's not really that long, it just is longer than I have ever had. I *think* AF should be here in the next day or two. In the meantime I have had to cancel my SIS for this week and am still waiting for my CD3 bw. At this rate MH will be done his testing before me and his SA isn't for another two weeks!
QOTW: There is nothing that would be on a breakfast menu that I don't like. I would eat it for all three meals if I could. DH doesn't like/eat eggs though we usually end up with waffles or BLT's for breakfast.

Conclusion: we're doing a natural cycle this time around. It's so frustrating that my care is being decided by a group of people who don't know me or overseeing my case. I'm thankful that California is one of the states that had mandated fertility coverage , but they sure don't make it easily accessible (at least MH's insurance provider).
Eta: Sorry for the long rant. It really upset me to tears yesterday.
