I pulled out some baby clothes today and a lot of them have the yellow stains on them that appear after being in storage. Anyone have any tips on the best ways to try to get them out?
I've done this recently and found that a mixture of blue dawn and hydrogen peroxide sprayed on the stain then sprinkled with baking soda and mixed into a paste with a toothbrush seems to work wonders.

Thanks, I'll try that. It sounds like combining a mixture of sorts and then drying in the sun will do the trick so *crosses fingers* There's a lot of cute clothes I'd hate to toss out.
This Goop stuff is a good stain remover, and is cheap. It's really jelly and goopy and you just slop it on and let it sit for a bit and wash it. It takes a lot of hard to remove stains out.
I soaked them overnight in oxyclean! Got out about 95% of the stains. I had to re-soak about 5 outfits. I just washed them with vinegar and did an extra rinse cycle and they looked great.
I was so nervous when I took them out of storage! I had no idea they could yellow like that! Good luck!
I had been given several things from friend's storage that had stains - I washed just like regular and they didn't come out, so I squirted lemon juice on them and laid them in the sun while still wet and they are like new clothes! The stains disappeared in a matter of hours. These were also yellow ish, maybe spit up? Appeared after storage I think also though. Worked like a charm.
I agree with oxyclean - soak overnight! For more recent stains (i.e. stains that developed recently and didn't come out of the wash), I've put them in the sunlight for the day and it does wonders.
I sprayed them with shout, let sit a couple days, then made a paste with oxy clean and water. Scrubbed the paste on the stained parts with a tooth brush and washed normally. Got out EVERYTHING!

Ours have been packed away for close to 3 years and I know they weren't stained when I put them in...not sure how long it took for the stains to appear, though!
