Bitter sweet U/S #2

in Pregnant after IF
Just left my RE and although 2 sacs are still present, he couldn't detect a heartbeat on my little peanut #2. It also measured behind so they want to see me back on Monday. I'm sad yet relieved that one is still growing strong, it's all very bitter sweet but thanking God nonetheless.

    I am so sorry to hear this, but also glad that one of your lil ones is progressing well.

    Began TTC 3/2013
    First appointment with RE 7/2013
    8/2013 benched w/ cyst
    9/2013 100mg clomid w/ menopur/cancelled due to 15+ foll.
    10/2013 25 mg. clomid w/trigger shot/2 foll. canceled IUI
    11/2013 benched w/cyst
    12/2013 25 mg. clomid w/trigger shot and IUI 3 foll. BFN
    1/2014 25 mg. clomid w/ trigger shot and IUI 2 foll. BFN
    2/2014 took off-too emotionally drained
    3/2014 25 mg. clomid w/ trigger shot and IUI 2 foll. BFN
    4/2014 injectibles w/ trigger and prog. inserts  2 foll. BFP!!!

    I'm so sorry.  The same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago. I understand the bittersweet feelings all too well.  While, you are happy for the beating heart that you see, it's crushing to have to mourn the baby that didn't make it.  Hugs!

    TTC since 9/2011. DH - 32, me 32.

    IUI#1 (natural): BFN; IUI#2 (clomid): BFN; IUI#3 (clomid and follistim): BFN.

    IVF #1 March 2013, freeze all (OHSS).

    FET#1 June: BFN

    FET#2 August: delayed due to thin lining (6.3).  Took a few months off to try and thicken the lining with lots of estrodial.  FET#2.2 December: Cancelled due to thin lining (4.8). Two frosties left.

    *New RE* Sonohystrogram and hystereoscopy done in Feb.

    IVF #2: ER 3/4/14  ET 3/7/14, transferred 3, 3 day 9 cell perfect embryos.  No frosties.

    Beta #1 (14dp3dt) 504

    Beta #2 (21dp3dt) 11,561

    First ultrasound on 4/3/14 showed 3 sacs: one empty and two with beating hearts!!  At 7w2d, found out that one baby did not have a heartbeat anymore.  Praying that baby B makes it.  Baby B is a girl!

    EDD 11/25/14 BORN 11/29/14

    So very sad to hear. Loosing a twin is very hard & a real mix emotions of happy one is still ok and sad for the one that is lost. Be gentle with yourself over the next while as you process all that is going on. Hugs!

    06/12-10/12- Clomid/Femara + trigger + TI + P4 = 3 BFNs, hysteroscopy, polypectomy, D&C
    11/12 - 7.5 mg Femara + trigger + IUI + P4 = BFN
    12/12 - Surprise BFP ectopic (MTX 01/13)
    04/13 - Off the Bench! 7.5 mg Femara + trigger + IUI #2 + estradiol + P4 = BFN
    05/13 Clear HSG-5 mg Femara + Menopur + trigger + IUI #3 + P4 = BFP ectopic (MTX 07/03 & 07/11)
    07/23 emergency lap to remove ectopic mass and left tube
    10/13 5mg Femara + Menopur + trigger + TI(follie on left/no IUI)=BFN
    11/13 Same as above but BFP!

    TX: IUI #1 with Follistim. Canceled due to too many follicles (10 + that were large); BENCHED
    IVF #1 March 6. 14 eggs retrieved, 10 fertilized. 
    March 11, 4 eggs transferred.
    March 21 BFP  :) Beta #1 457, Beta #2 1350, Beta #3 9619.

     Me (34)- no issues found MH (36)- MFI due to Vericocele. Straight to IVF w/ICSI 9/12, Antagonist. 9R, 7M, 5F = BFN c/p,  New RE for IVF #2- 1/13., Long Lupron. ER on 1/22 -10R, 9M, 9F. Transfer on hold due to overstimming. FET in Feb. 2 frozen blasts. Another BFN & another c/p. RPL testing all negative besides MTHFR gene, vericocle repair surgery 4/12/13-Bilateral Grade 3 Vericocele found & fixed, IVF #3 with PGS  4/13- 11R, 9M, 9F. Transferred 2 normal=BFN, 3 normal on ice. CCRM-here we come! ODWU-All test results normal. EPP in August. 21R, 20M, 19F. 12 blasts biopsied & frozen for CCS testing. Results showed 11 normal! FET Oct. 30. 2 5d 4AA blasts transferred. First ever BFP!!! Beta 1=216, Beta 2=870 1st U/S=It's TWINS!!! It's a BOY and a GIRL!! Everyone Welcome!!!

    That's definitely hard news to hear, but I'm glad that you're trying to have a positive attitude and be thankful for the baby that is doing well.  You're a strong mama!  FX that your peanut #1 continues to grow grow grow!
