Waters broke at Hobby Lobby! At L&D! Long sorry! (@Manda10884)

I don't have a labor buddy so I hope I can just post it myself!
Today(well yesterday now!) On my due date 4/24 about 6:30pm- DH and I were at hobby lobby buying some things to finish up the hospital door wreath standing in the checkout line when I felt a gush all of a sudden. Told DH and went to the restroom- it was not clear but tinted yellow/brown so I called my OB and on call doc told me to head to hospital immediately. Got here and in my room and was having contractions but didn't know it- 2 1/2 dilated! Birth plan already messed up because I was wanting to labor up out of bed and at home for majority! But what can you do! The contractions then came on really hard and fast and ALL in my back (ouch!!)- worked through them until about 1am but just couldn't take anymore- I've been sick all week with bronchitis, couldn't breathe at all and so the pain just overtook me! Was planning on med free but took the epi at 1am (4cm dilated) so I could get some rest- contractions are no joke- FTM here came into it naively thinking it wouldn't hurt much! Ha! After epi was placed my BP bottomed out and so did LOs heart rate but luckily they both came back up! Now I'm laying here with this awesome epi and can't really get to sleep- too much excitement I guess! Mom and hubby are fast asleep though! My waters are pretty heavy with chunky mec (can't rember what they called it) so nicu and extra staff will be here at birth to hopefully keep her from inhaling/aspirating. I ask that you pray for my LO and that she is ok and doesn't get any of it in her lungs! I'll update later- sorry so long! I'm mobile sorry!
