For those that bottle feed, how old is your LO and how many oz do they typically tale per feed? LO takes approx 4oz and is almost 5 weeks. Thanks!

Mine is 7 1/2 weeks and takes 5oz every 3 hours. 5 1/2 at night and sleeps about 4-5 hours at a time.

So question when - when your LOs were 2 weeks, how much we're they taking? And when did it increase? Pedi recommended 2 oz of formula when doing a ff and topping off at the breast but I want to make sure it is enough.

E takes 3.5oz every 3-4 hours during the day. He'll take 4oz before bed at 11:30 and sleep until 7:30am

I've always been told that formula is a thicker liquid than BM and therefore more filling for the babes so I wouldn't worry unless baby is still acting hungry (rooting, sucking on hand etc).

P is 6 weeks. She usually takes 3 oz of BM every 3 hours but sometimes will go up to 4 oz and 2 hours. She generally goes 4.5-5.5 hrs in between feeds at night.

Our guys eat 3-4oz per feeding session and they still eat every 2-3 hours (4-6 at night) .. 8w corrected age.

LO took about 2 ounces breast milk at 2 weeks and now at 7 weeks she takes 4-5 ounces every 3-4 hours. She seems to take more in the evening(not sure how much exactly because I am nursing at that time) so she can go 6 hours overnight.

My daughter will be 4 weeks on Monday. She gets around 1/2 to 1 oz at the boob, then will have on average 3 oz of either formula or breast milk from the bottle. When its breast milk we go about 2 1/2 hours till the next meal, if the bottle is formula, its more like 3 1/2. We end up averaging between 20 and 25 oz total in 24 hours - some days she is a bit hungrier, some days a little less.

DD is 1 month. She takes 3oz of either pumped breast milk or formula, but I'm starting to increase it to 4 (starting at night). Sometimes after 3 she still seems hungry.

During the day it's 2-4 hours (usually 3). At night there's a 6 hr stretch then a 4.

I focus more on her daily intake than anything else.

We are only topping off at night to comfort nurse her, otherwise she screams in hunger. Part of what I have been struggling with are extremely long sessions where she doesn't get enough, we end up doing formula anyway, I break down mentally feeling like a failure and then get so cold that I physically am out of commission for the next 2 hours. Right now, she bf's well in the MOTN and twice during the day. She is also starting to comfort nurse more in the evenings, and i am encouraged because when we DO nurse, she unlatches with milk on her face. It's not ideal but it is something that I can live with.

I EBF but pump a bottle for my husband to give every other night. LO usually eats between 3-4 ounces. She is 7 weeks old.

LO is 7 weeks and has 2-3 oz every 2 to 3 hours. It's about 0.5 - 1 oz of breast milk then up to 2 oz go BM or formula, depends on what I've pumped. LC said not to supplement more than 2oz to ensure my supply doesn't decrease. We used to go 3 hours, but now it is closer to 2. I'm about to try Domperidone to see if that increases my supply. Night time we have a 4 hour gap, then a 3 hour gap between feeds.
