@ugabamafans good luck at your appointment! I would definitely say something to them about that nurse. Not okay at all. I had to say something to a nurse manager the other day (which I also try hard not to do) but sometimes you just need to.
I have my twice weekly NST today at 11 and a regular check up at 1:30 EST. Hoping everything is still okay with my blood pressure. I was sent to L&D on Monday for monitoring because of my high bp/headache/nausea combo and I would really rather not do that again.
I have my 32 week OB apt today at 1:15pm CST. We will be discussing yesterday's ultrasound results. They couldn't find the SCH at all yesterday but it could have been because baby's head was in the way. This is my last 4 week appointment. Now onto every other week!

@ugabamafans, sorry that nurse was such a jerk face. There is one like that at my practice and I dread getting her. Luckily she hates me, too, so we avoid each other
I have a regular WEEKLY AHHHH follow-up today at 1:30 with the OB! I need to ask him about walking for March of Dimes tomorrow and also if he will PLEASE schedule my RCS. Puh.Lease.
Just finished growth ultrasound. The tech seemed relieved I already have a date for a c-section. "Why?" you might ask? I'm 33w6d today, measured 35w6d and baby weighs an estimated 6#7oz already. No creepy alien baby photos today due to the machine not working 100% on the 3D side, but here is her face. Lots of good practice breathing going on.
@yellowbird219 -- good luck! I hope you get good clarification and no bed rest necessary. Keep us updated.
Had my regular appointment today. Baby is head down, woohoo!
I just love the midwife group I chose! I'm so sorry to hear that others of you have negative / rude experiences. Everyone at the practice I've seen has been SOOO nice and seems to genuinely love their job.
I also found out (a) they will let me go to 42 weeks if everything is ok with baby, and (2) they can turn him if he decides to move out of position. I didn't know that was a thing.
LO is measuring perfectly, and I am feeling super duper blessed today! (Sorry if that's an SS moment!)
Standard 34 week appointment this afternoon (yay for leaving work early on a Friday!). This is my last bi-weekly, weeklies are next - which is totally crazy to me.
I'm a bit jealous of the ladies getting growth scans. My last US was the anatomy scan at 20 weeks, my MWs won't do another unless they feel they have to. I'd like to see my LO again before his arrival!
@rastrau I can understand the jealousy, but the only reason most of us have growth scans is because of medical issues/reasons. Nothing to be jealous of. I'd rather not have to worry about the two potential things that could cause growth restrictions for the baby.
32 week checkup today (like just about everyone else apparently). asked some basic questions about creating a birth plan, though midwife critiqued me for being a little too gung-ho about that ("why? you won't need that until 36 week appointment or later" BECAUSE I LIKE BEING PREPARED!).
*ahem, anyways, he's head down! which is great news, because I could have sworn he was transverse. but the other day he did a turn, so that put him right where he needs to be. now stay there little man!
hoping everyone else's appts go well, even with the rude nurses
@chickpea912 - my bad on being an ignoramus I thought it was just my office's policy and that other offices might do them standard.
No worries, @rastrau! there may be some offices that do them towards the end - I have no idea since this pregnancy and my last one I've been high risk and so this is my "normal." Didn't mean to make you feel bad, just wanted to put it in perspective!
32 week appointment was this morning. All seems well. I'm still measuring big, but I've always carried my weight in my tummy. My midwife suggested an ultrasound to estimate weight and confirm whether he's turned when we get closer as they can't really tell.
I did ask about soft serve and she laughed it off. DH was there, so it's going to be soft serve for me!!!
Great appt this morning, routine prenatal appt. Measuring right on track at 33 weeks, great HB of 145, plenty of healthy movement. We also talked about my anxiety attack the night after I had C and he put in my chart that whoever is entering my meds after the birth NEEDS to include an antianxiety of some sort in case I need it. Yay!!!
Just got back from appointment - BP was high so I am supposed to stay off my feet as much as I can. Not bed rest, just "don't be a moron" rest. But Jenna sounded good! I go back in a week and they will start doing NSTs at every appointment from now on. He still wouldn't schedule my RCS, grrrr.
