Mine was a floor sample - I spent more on alterations than I did on the dress. I love the color blue, so I wore a blue bolero for the reception and had a blue trimmed veil.
Mine is also a Maggie Sottero. It was the very first dress I tried on. I knew it was the one the second I saw it. My sister, aunts and girl cousins had gone wedding dress shopping with me. They were all in tears as soon as I had stepped out of the dressing room in this dress. I absolutely still love it!
@cyclonewxchick I had to look that up--what a beautiful location!! No, we were in a tiny town in the northwest corner of CT. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!!
The quiet corner. You're not still in ct are you??
@keags5496 No, we're now in the DC metro. But my parents still live in NW CT for half the year on a beautiful farm on top of a small mountain. We can't wait to bring LO there this summer!
Awesome! It's a beautiful area. I live more central but teach more in that direction. Perfect for leaf peeping.
Here is mine. The bridal shop listed it on craigslist at 90% off. Yes please! First dress I tried on and loved it! (white and I dont really get along, so I went with antique gold.)

Re: GTKY: wedding dresses
Mine's from David's too. My mom swore I wouldn't like it, but I loves how big and poufy it was!
