I have a Graco DuoGlider double and really like it. I bought it when DS was first born because we were wanting back to back kids but it just took us longer than planned. I let my SIL borrow it for a few months and got to see it working and it's very easy to carry in the car, fold, and maneuver. I personally prefer the front/back strollers rather than the side to side ones.

We have the Baby Jogger City Select. I freaking LOVE this stroller! I've been through about 8+ different strollers, and have finally found one that doesn't leave me looking at other strollers wondering if they would be better. I love that the CS easily (and quickly) converts from a single to a double, is of solid construction (sorry to Graco fans, but I found their strollers to be cheap and flimsy with way too much plastic for my taste), and could even support a glider board for my oldest, making it suitable for 3 kids.
We have a Baby Jogger City Mini GT. I plan to wear the baby and use the stroller for DS1 for as long as I can before investing in a double stroller. Hopefully by then, DS1 will be old enough to talk by himself so we won't need a double stroller.
We are also not big stroller users - we only use it for walks around our neighborhood which only occur maybe 3-4 months out of the year. If we decide that we need a double stroller, I'm hoping to hold out until the City Select goes on sale.
We like our double jogging stroller. I had a sit n stand, but my first 2 are 20 months apart and the style didn't work for us-I think a 3 or 4 year age gap would be ideal for those. The inline styles are nice for taking baby around in the carrier, but they are more difficult to steer.

I knew we planned on having our babies close in age so when I got pregnant with #1 I did lots of research on strollers to get one that would convert to a double. Didn't want to waste my money on a single that would be basically be useless in the future. I have the baby jogger city select and it's amazing! Love it! Def recommend! It's an investment for sure but well worth it!
Honestly DH and I keep going back and forth on whether or not we want to get a double stroller. DH keeps reminding me of how I barely used the stroller when DD was itty bitty because I always put her in a sling. I think he's right. I love baby wearing!
So what we've decided is that at least at first one of us will just wear LO in the sling or Ergo and put DD in a shopping cart, etc. If we decide we want a double stroller once LO is here then at leat at that point we'll be able to test them out with both babes in it!
I bought a used moutain buggy duet and have used it with my son and his friend and I love it. It's a side by side but it's still really narrower (same width as city select).
