bottle feeding mamas, recommendations pls!

i'll try to keep this short, any of your experiences/thoughts appreciated! DS has reflux, he is on zantac, sometimes I think its helping, other times not. This makes me question his bottle and nipple size. Originally he has been taking from medela with sz 'slow' nipples which I think at times may be too fast. So we tried platex ventaire size 'slow'/1 but these are way too slow. So we upgraded to size 'med'/2 for the playtex bottle, of course way too fast. I know it depends on your baby but wondering if anyone has had similar experiences or found a good bottle/nipple that had helped with reflux. thx!

    Try different nipple shapes for the playtex. Natural is what we use- angled was to fast

    We had to switch our daughters also. We went to the playtex drops in after about using 3 different types of bottles. The playtex drops in are a bit more to deal with but our daughter does wonderful with them. Playtex also makes a preemie nipple and we used it for a little while. What I found that worked for us was with the slow nipples was sterlizing a fork and poking it through the nipple a little bit. Good luck with everything I know yout pain

    Hi! I have the same issues with the spit up! I use the dr brown's preemie nipples which help a lot. DD is also on Zantac. I barely give it to her because she absolutely hates it. It is mint flavor. What flavor is yours?

    Do you feed your LO formula or breast milk? If you FF, try stirring the formula gently with a spoon rather than shaking it. It takes a few seconds longer but eliminates the foam and bubbles you get from shaking.
