If you have spent money and time towards putting this AIW (what exactly is AIW?) party together I would just tell your DD that it's too late to change her mind.

How far away is the party? Maybe she'll change her mind back in time for it? Maybe if you have her help out with making some stuff AIW themed she'll get back into it?
What does she want instead? If it was something completely different, I'd say sorry but we have to go with what we originally started working on or she can have just a generic birthday theme with simple decorations/food.
If she wanted to do something in the same vein, I'd try to help come up with ways to adapt what we've already done into that theme. Like storybook or disney or something?
I bought her a costume for the party, but she said she's willing to be Alice for Halloween.
She wants a luau and a water slide. Super easy to do and more fun she says. Ha!
How much have ypu actually put into it? Like just a ton of planning on paper or have you ordered a ton of crap that cant be returned, and pulled all nighters making decorations? If it wasn't that much work that you have put into it I would provably switch it.
Totally depends on how much you've actually done/spent. Ditto PP, any more than the costume and I'd say no, but if the rest is just ideas that have been pinned and no actual money laid out or time invested in DIY, then sure.
Re: I have to change it right?
We only have "big" parties every other year.
