DS who is two, was grunting. I asked him if he was pooping. He pats the front of his diaper and says, "I have big one."

I was speechless. Where did he learn that?!? Goof!

What funny things have your kids said lately?

I was driving in the car with DS. He was excited to go home and work on a project with DH. He suddenly went pensive and started asking:

DS: Mommy, can I say "Oh man!"

Me: Yes, that is fine

DS: Can I say "Oh nuts!"

Me: Sounds good to me

DS: Can I say "Shoot"?

Me: Sure, why not

DS: Can I say "Jeez oh pete"

Me: That's fine

DS: Can I say "Damn it"

Me: No, that's not very nice.

DS: But Daddy says it and I am 4 years old now. Can I please say "Damn it". Pleeeaaase???

Me: No

I guess he was preparing for a difficult project.

Anytime DS burps, toots (yes, we call it tooting), coughs, hiccups, basically any bodily function he tells me, "Escuse me! Sowwy! Mommy, I ok?" I have no idea why.

Yesterday DS asked for a pickle. He took two bites and said, "oh, mommy, that's bitter!"

Huh?

Also, last night he begged DH to take him outside to collect eggs and milk the cows.

We don't have cows?!

We do have an elephant end table thing next to our couch, so I told him to go milk the elephant and he looked at me like I was the crazy one.

We finally turned little man around in the car. He is mesmerized by it all and says "WEEEEE!" when we are driving up and down hills

LOL! We turned DS too a little bit ago, and he had the same reaction. He always says we are going fast and wants to go under the "tunnels" (overpasses of the freeway).

Yesterday I was ordering a coffee in the drive thru, and DD asked if I was getting a mocha, I said no sweetie, a latte. Can you say latte? Her response, no mommy, I'm not going to say latte! Lol, made me giggle

Today at the doctor's Reese informed me that she was broken. I got all concerned thinking she fell in the playroom/got hurt/etc. Nope, she had the hiccups!

The boys are obsessed with turning lights on. The other day when they were sitting at lunch, N kept pointing to the light overhead and saying "On?" I said, "The light isn't on because it's light outside....it's sunny!" So now anytime either boy notices a light off they look out the window and say "Nunny!"

DS threw his stuffed Cat in the Hat down hard, looked at me, said 'uh oh, Hatta (what he calls him) fell!' Uh well no. Two different things :-?

LOL! Mine have also been doing the deliberate throw and then say "Uh oh" thing....so innocent haha.
