Cord blood banking

Hi all! Just wondering if anyone is banking their baby's cord blood, and if so which lab you selected? I want to bank cord blood, but can't decide which company to go with. Thanks!

    We're still on the fence with this, but if we do, we'll go with CBR because they have the lowest overall price from what I've found, have a secure facility, and we have friends who've banked there so we'll get a referral. (We get a discount and they get a year free storage)

    If we don't do private banking, we're absolutely going to donate. I believe our hospital is partnered with CBR for this as well.

    I thought I would totally do cord blood banking, but after reading this article I couldn't justify the cost. It's still very experimental and it's costly. https://articles.lucieslist.com/0-week-28-the-truth-about-cord-blood-banking

    If I was to do it, CBR seemed to have the lowest over all cost, and the place that most hospitals/docs recommend around here.
