La-a is totally real, she's now in sixth grade... As an elementary teacher who works with the entire school, I see it all. We often talk about dumb names at lunch, especially now that I am pregnant. Apparently. A friends sis, who works in a delivery room in the inner city said a mom actually named her new daughter placenta! Gross!

I believe it. DH worked for CPS for about 6 or so months, and one of the cases he worked...was a child with this name. What in the ever lovin' fuck. I told him that's child abuse right there. Geez.
