c/s delay colostrum

I go in tomorrow for an ultrasound to see if my LO will be large like my others & if so I will be recommended for another c/s. With my last experience my colostrum didn't come in right away & my LO lost weight before going home. I hated how the hospital tried to encourage me to allow her to have a bottle of formula. I stood my ground & by day 3 I clearly was producing milk. Did anyone else have this experience? Would you happen to know what I can do to help my milk come in prior to my possible scheduled c/s?

    It is so annoying how uneducated the medical profession is on breastfeeding. My LO lost 8% birth weight and started off gaining very slowly. I stuck to it. Looked for signs of dehydration. And saw a lactation consultant and everything turned out fine she is now 97 th percentile for weight at 4 months.

    Thanks for the support ladies. They really made me feel inadequate. This time around I'll be more confident. I didn't give in the last time around but boy did I feel like crap.
