What did you do last week?

What are your plans for this week?

What's your long-term/mid-term goal?

GTKY: What's your favorite BBQ sauce?  Kidding!  Or we can go there ;-)  Otherwise, what's your favorite activity to do outside with and without LO?

And for the leaderboard!

  • Loading the player...
  • Last week- got a few runs in and some Jillian.

This week- Hoping to do more of the same as I continue to hold on to (and add more) period bloat. Hormones are the devil.

Goal- Half marathon this fall and ideally I'd like to do another round of Insanity. But, the only reason I was able to do it before was because our living room was HUGE at our old house. Not sure how I'd swing it here.

QOTW- I have to be in the mood for BBQ sauce, but I like it to have some bite. With the kiddos, chalk drawing and playground. Without the kids, running. That's my time.

  • What did you do last week? Workout ball and walking.

What are your plans for this week? The Same!

What's your long-term/mid-term goal? To lose weight!

GTKY: What's your favorite BBQ sauce?  Kidding!  Or we can go there  Otherwise, what's your favorite activity to do outside with and without LO? Playing at the park.

  • Last week - ran 5k on Wednesday, then got sick so no more for the week

This week - I'm hoping to get in 3 days of Jillian since DH will be OOT this weekend and playing hockey tonight and tomorrow night. Makes getting to the gym hard!

Goals - loose weight and run 5k while pushing the boys this summer

QOTW - I don't have much experience with BBQ sauce, nothing too spicy. Outside activity would be hanging in the back yard with a drink while the kid play well on their own!

  • Hi girlies! I can't believe I missed a couple check ins! This is my favorite post of the weeks. I've been crazy busy and baby just doesn't nurse as long as he used to so I have been missing my bump ladies!

The good news is my weight loss has been amazing! In 3 weeks since starting my clean eating, I have lost 11 pounds! I am well under my original goal weight that I set for myself in July.

This week, keep up the eating clean and squeeze in my workouts.

Goal: 6 more pounds would be crazy. I would love that. Then every single pair of jeans I own would fit me (without a muffin top haha)

    Qotw: honey BBQ fo sho.
And I love going on walks with MJ. He loves them too!

How strict are you with your clean eating?  Are there some general guidelines you're following?

@musicalsilver‌ i've had a few cheat days (probably 3) I am following it religiously for the most part though. Here's what a typical day looks like:

7am: 3 egg whites with mushrooms and a small sprinkle of cheese

9am: light and fit greek yogurt (this brand has 80 calories 2x protein of other yogurts, and low sugar)

11am: whole wheat tortilla, tomato, half avocado, lettuce, grilled chicken or tuna. Also some fruit

2pm: quest protein bar (they are amazing tasting, especially the cookie dough kind)

5:30pm grilled chicken or steak, asparagus or broccoli (sometimes I add a fruit if I'm still hungry)

8pm: whey protein shake with almond milk and ice mmmm

And if I'm ever hungry inbetween those meal times I will grab some fruit or a serving of cashews
  • So it's basically just nothing processed. High protein, low sugar. So the sodium in this diet is really low which is why I think I've seen such a drastic difference in my stomach! I eat a serving of a heavy carb (whole wheat tortilla, brown rice, or sweet potato) once a day.
