Eating smaller meals and snacks all throughout the day is suppose to help. Also sour candies helped me a good bit when I was too nauseous to eat. Gingerale, crackers, etc.

Morning sickness and all day nausea and fatigue hit me exactly at week 6. I had two days where I felt completely debilitated. The third day, I was back in the office armed with grapes, ginger ale, saltines, and cheerios. Eating a rice cake the second I woke up helped to get something in my stomach to ease the queasiness. And ginger Altoids help whenever a wave of nausea comes on.
I still hate being at work with no one knowing I'm pregnant. Makes me nervous to go into meetings when there's no a clear shot to the bathroom. And I'm exhausted all the time!
Anyone else having trouble being secretly pregnant at work?
I hear you. Since Easter 3am I've had intense morning sickness. Puking, nausea, and gagging pretty much 24/7. Not to mention extreme fatigue. I just want to be home in bed cuddled with my fur babies.
Hi! While the nausea hasnt hit just yet- I'm only four weeks-I an SO tired! I'm traveling for work and in many meetings especially dinner and wine is being served.... I have been declining and keeping this "secret" is tough!
Not much seems to work for me except making sure I don't get hungry. And I can't eat anything that has a strong smell or is too spicy. Lots of crackers, soup, frozen grapes, canteloupe, and mashed potatoes. I've tried all the other usual go tos - ginger candy and gum, ginger ale, vitamin B6, PSI bands, Zofran, etc. I even tried acupuncture with my last pregnancy because I was so sick. Honestly, nothing worked for me. But making sure I don't ever get hungry helps take the edge off.
Good luck. Hopefully you'll find something that works!
Ginger ale has worked well for me, but I just can't drink it all day! Too much sugar. You all just reminded me I have bands in my purse (keep them there for when I have to get in the car with FIL - I always feel car sick! Ha ha). I just put them on and ahh, it feels better. Of course, if I wasn't wearing long sleeves it'd be a little hard to get away with at work without people asking.
I actually just spoke with the nurse at my Dr.'s office. Mine has been really bad at night, waking me in the night, and making it hard to get ready in the morning. The nurse reiterated the unisom (the active ingredient is the same in most generic sleep meds too), b6, emetrol, and 5-6 small, non greasy meals a day. She said processed foods will make it worse. She suggested the small meals be things like hard boiled eggs, hummus, pita and veggies, chicken, veggie burgers, fiber rich fruits like pears, etc. She also suggested sea bands.
I am also taking B6 - 50 mg in the morning and in the afternoon. Seems to make me less nauseated, though I haven't been feeling sick to the point where I've actually puked yet. I find that eating small meals high in protein helps the nausea too.

Some people use jolly ranchers or sour candy to help. Any kind of candy made mine worse. I just have to keep something in my stomach at all times. I pop raw almonds a lot. Also, I hate ginger ale so I like to get ginger gum. It was the only thing that really helped that "I'm going to throw up" feeling last time. I used sea bands for a while but I don't really think they helped much.
This! It's hard to get used to eating when you feel sick (until waiting to be less queasy). When I get up to pee in the middle of the night, I eat a few saltines, and that seems to help in the morning. I've also started drinking coconut water, which seems to help too. Good luck!

During my last pregnancy i used Sea Bands (bought from a local drugstore) and wore them daily. I do believe it helped alittle. After so long, Dr prescribed me Zofran. It was a disolvable tablet that melts on the tongue, and that was my LIFE SAVER.
