  I've had this problem for a long time. LOs seem to have it too. I'm not sure what causes it but a humidifier in the room helps. If it's really bad I use those nasal strips sometimes. I've also tried various antihistamines but I don't like the drowsiness and netti pots but thosr didn't work out too well for me either.

  I've had it since about 19 weeks. It's just a lovely part of PG...especially enjoyable for my DH as it causes me to snore. And drool. So sexy! I tried using a saline nasal spray before bed but it doesn't help. Sometimes it does help to use it in the morning since I get so dried out. I may try some of the nasal strips to see if those help.

  I developed this late last pregnancy and early with this one. It gives me a lovely wracking cough. The OB has listened to my lungs multiple times and says they're clear. Last time it went away the day I gave birth.
  
  Anyway, she suggested a humidifier and she was also fine with me taking claritin.

  I've had this issue from the beginning, I've been running a humidifier nightly and use the nasal strips if I'm having a really rough night.  It's worse with seasonal allergies now but my doctor said Claritin or Benadryl are okay to take, seems to make a difference too.

  I should get a humidifier even for the kids, I've just been lazy.
